Connor Hughes seems convinced they dont like Thibodeaux, it will be interesting to see if he knows what hes talking about or if hes dead wrong
Interesting, Hughes' sources say Jets likely wouldn't take Sauce. Cimini says he's one of their top targets. Will be a nice test of their intel about the team! IMO, if they take Ickey, Becton is getting traded between draft weekend and the start of the season. I fully believe the reports that Fant is well-liked and extension talks have begun. I think he could indeed be the guy at LT for the coming years
Cimini seems a lot less pessimistic about Ikey being there at #4. I wonder if that's the big reason for the feelings on Sauce at 4.
30 hours til the draft. This is the heart of smokescreen season. There's probably 10 people in the world, maybe less, that really know what the Jets want to do/plan to do. We'll all know soon enough.
I just posted my view on the draft 1st pick and is earie similar to Cimini tweet about KT not being considered at 4. But I don't think Ikey will be there at 4 either so its Sauce in my view .
I sure hope not if KT is the pick I will not like it at all. Hutchinson is dropping and might be available. I would rather go that route. I would rather have Karlaftis over KT.
Where are you seeing Hutch is dropping beyond 2? Karlaftis is dropping per many mock drafts but could he be available at 35?
It very well might be misdirection, but earlier tonight, the Vegas odds on pick 2 shifted from Hutch -300 to now -140 on FanDuel (with Thibodeaux +130). While I'm still dubious of Hutch falling, the fact that FD has Hutch being the 4th pick at +340 (Sauce at +300, Ekownu at +340 and Johnson at +380) shows that they think there's a reasonable chance of it happening.
A few weeks ago they had Hutchinson going #1 and he still might but now see him going 9 to Seattle. I like Karlaftis and he is there for the Jets at 10 that would be a steal. Here is the link showing Hutch going 9th. https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft...-every-other-team-should-do-with-their-picks/
most people had him rated between 3-5 but he went 1st ahead of jeudy and lamb who many had as 1a and 1b
Ravens get Hamilton at 14, while trading down adding more picks in the process. This is why the Ravens are always good, taking the best talent available - and making their picks count.
