Burks is becoming my favorite WR prospect this draft. You may have influenced me lol. There’s a lot to like with his game.
He’s just a pure football player that dominated at the highest level against NFL prospects. I’m glad you see the light lol
If that's the case, that could prime a hot trade-up market for OT. Teams will have to at least leapfrog NYG & Carolina if they want a top OT.
I am terrible adding link. let me tell you where I found it. https://www.total pro sports.com2022/04/26 and in FA duel “Neal Medical Concerns Reportedly Crushing NFL Draft Stock”
Thanks! Here's the link: https://www.totalprosports.com/2022...ts-reportedly-removed-them-from-draft-boards/ I hope for everyone's sake that this "medical concern" is legit because this news will effectively trash Neal's (as well as Raimann's) value. Even if proven to be overblown it probably has already suppressed their draft stock and therefore future salary. Too bad. This probably is why we haven't heard Neal linked to the Jets (or Raimann for that matter).
Thanks for doing that. I agree I don’t know much of it is true about the medical reports. I guess there are always a team or two that they question about the player’s health. It could definitely drop his stock. Oddmakers have Ilem Ekwonu as the first OL and O/U 7.5 of OL being drafted in first round. OL is that good.
OL always gets a lot of 1st round picks. The draft nerds overlook the position in their mock drafts as its sexier to mock out a QB,RB, or WR. But every year theres a big run on lineman
Yep, look at FA and you'll see that very few really good OL that don't have any injury problems and are still in their prime shake loose unless they're demanding a king's ransom. This is why drafting your OL makes the most sense, and which is why Douglas may very well take Ekonwu at #4.
i wouldn't be surprised if he fell to 35 TBH. he's fallen a lot lately because his film just isn't good and teams didn't rank him as high as the media did. his combine didn't help either. the jets may like him at 35 and think they can get him there
To me he's a second round WR but I think someone at the end of the first will snag him. A team that doesn't have many holes and can afford to take a shot on a WR that may be more hype than substance. Could see him going to the Saints at 19, Pats at 21, Packers at 22 or 28, Chiefs at 29 or 30. More likely one of the last two teams.
cheifs seem pretty likely since they have back to back picks at 29 and 30. rumor is though they are looking to package them to move up for a better WR though
Icky is the pick at 4 if he is there. He is the surest and safest pick but unlikely to be there at 4. I have come full circle on this. JJ, Thibs and all the WRs have flaws but Icky you can draft him and pencil his name in the lineup for the next 10 years. This is not a good draft to have a top 10 pick but you can take Icky and feel comfortable you got good value who us very likely to be a long term good player. I don't think that can be said about anyone else in round 1 other than Hutch.
I'd put Linderbaum in there (ranked 9th best prospect by cbs) and take Penning out. But I like your thinking otherwise.
Olave in that offense would be a stud. They might not have to move too far up either. Burks is probably their best bet if they stand pat though.
FWIW the sports books currently have Stingley as the betting favorite at #3, then basically Sauce and Ekwonu at similar odds. Casserio is a Belichick guy and you can argue that no one puts a greater value on corners than Belichick in recent years. I think it's a better than 50-50 chance that Ekwonu is there at 4.
i'd say 50/50 at best (but probably a 25% chance) jax is considering him at 1 and i would think the texans are at 3 as well
