Ikem Sauce JJ Those will be the choices....I believe, at least at THIS POINT, if Ikem falls, its gonna be a TUFF choice. I say they'll take him. I'm leaning heavy now, that JJ will be the guy. They absolutely love all 3 but sauce and JJ are PERCECT fits As long as KT...the bust...isn't part of ANYTHING NYJ...
I think if Ekwonu is on the board at #4, he's definitely the pick. If he's off the board, Douglas is trying to figure out which of the other 2 has the better shot to be there at #10. They'll likely be doing back flips if they can get 2 of those 3. That being said, was it Cimini or Hughes that kept insisting Saleh's defense doesn't prioritize CBs? I know Cimini is now consistently reporting that Sauce is in the mix.
I think Ekwonu is definitely No. 1 on their board out of those 3. As for Sauce vs. Johnson, I'm guessing Sauce has a slightly higher grade, but then its a balancing act of CB vs. Edge and what they think the likelihood is of Johnson falling to 10. All of the talk about Johnson as well as everyone wanting to move down (without much luck), does make me wonder at what price point is it worth moving up from 10 for Johnson.
This is truly the nightmare scenario. We have to choose between a cornerback who plays the same position as one of our bigger free agent signings and joins a crowded room… An offensive tackle which may be the least necessary position for us heading into this draft… Or an edge rusher who is 23 years old and only had one good college season. if KR is on the board and we take either of these three guys I have to seriously question Joe Douglas moving forward.
It was Hughes but Hughes has said through most of the draft process thar Sauce is in the mix at 10. Cimini who 15 years ago seemed to be the most connected beat writer definitely has less insight and mostly focus' now on promoting ESPNs click bait completely unrealistic articles from people like Kiper. Hughes gas been pretty consistent. He has for a long time said the Jets will go Icky or Thibs at 4. He only on the last few days has switched to JJ although he has expressed the Jets love of JJ for quite awhile just not ahead of Thibs until a few days ago. Either way things are heating up and finally we are getting some clarity.
My goodness ..don't hesitate , don't speculate if he's there at 10 etc ..grab the EDGE at 4!! I am pushing for defensive picks at 4 and 10 >>>which is completely contrarian to my usual Offensive mindset Off the KT bandwagon so JJ all the way..not the Alabama kid either since he only had 9 sacks over 29 games??....then if at all possible Sauce at 10 the other star CB or Hamilton But enough is enough get that EDGE RUSHER..out of the gate ..stop kicking that can down the road The second round should be about an OL LB And WR .. That said if it's a sturdy hands WR at 10 I won't complain 24 hours to go guys..yikes

I don’t think the 2nd tier of Edge rushers outside of Walker, Hutch are graded that differently... both should be gone, so.... With that 1 of the following will be the pick at #4: Ekwonu Gardner Neal
It won’t be Neal. I’ve read the Jets weren’t in love with his style I guess he struggles a bit in the run game. Ikey is top on their OL board. The Giants seem to be connected to Neal. The Jets like Sauce but I have a hard time believing they take a CB at 4. I’m thinking EDGE or Ikey.
