Wow. I hadn't seen this before. I worked in aviation for over 25 years and have about 30 hours of flight training. It's very obvious that he staged the entire stunt. No certified private pilot immediately abandons their airplane when the engine quits. This clown never attempted to restart it nor did he look for a place to ditch the airplane. It turns out he could have glided to a nearby airport and landed safely. There were also several places he could have made a dead stick landing. It's a shame that the FAA can only revoke his license. I guess they could fine him and I'm surprised they didn't. It's good to know that this asshat will never fly a plane legally again. He could have killed someone hiking, started a fire or both. All for some clicks. Fuck this guy.
Plus the guy is a grade-A douchebag. He wants to be Travis Pastrana so badly... now he's a joke. He should do some jail time for that stupid stunt.
