    My Final Jet's Mock draft.

Based off PFF Draft Simulator, No trades.

This mock is based on what I believe Joe Douglas will do.

    • 4. Ikem Ekwonu, OT, NC State

    • 10.Jameson Williams, WR, Alabama

    • 35. Boye Mafe, Edge, Minnesota

    • 38. Jaquan Brisker, S, Penn State

    • 69. Jerome Ford, RB, Cincinnati

    • 111. Chris Hinton, DT, Michigan

    • 117. Charlie Kolar, TE, Iowa State

    • 146. Alontae Taylor, CB, Tennessee

    • 163. James Empey, C, BYU

Based on JD's presser, he's going BPA and Ikem at # 4 should be the pick.

Jameson is the BPA, even with the ACL, heard he's ahead of schedule and should be ready by October.

Since we went Offense in Rd 1, Mafe is the right pick if still available, same with Brisker. Both could go at the end of Rd one, but just followed the simulator.

Great job! Considering that every Jets position needs help, I particularly like how you spread the picks over just about every position on the team. I also appreciate how you were quick to see great value in players such as Williams, Mafe, Brisker, and Taylor.

My only quibble would be that I think a LB is needed more than a TE (although I like Kollar as a value pick at 117).

Out of pure curiosity, was Jermaine Johnson still on the board at 10? I like the Jameson Williams pick, but there's a part of me that just doesn't believe the Jets will pass on JJ at 10 if Ikem is the pick at 4

I wouldn't be unhappy at all with this outcome. Good job!

Not a bad job - I don’t think Williams is the pick at 10 though. He may be the pick with a trade down but not at 10. Picks 4 and 10 will be either OL/DL or DL/WR in my opinion. I also think the chance of a trade down are higher than 50% and if that happens all bets are off.

I think at the end of the day the positions emphasized early are EDGE, OL, WR, S and LB. There could even be multiple picks at those positions especially WR and OL when it’s all said and done. I also think a RB will definitely be a third day pick….

He was gone, he went to ATL # 8, which I thought was a strange selection. Trust me, I'm one of the biggest Jermaine Johnson supporters. I really think Mafe may turn out to be better than a few of the top edge rushers. I'm surprised he was still available at # 35, I think he won't make to us next Thursday in Rd 2.

I wanted to take a LB, but the value was terrible, when we OTC. I just missed on Muma, I really wanted to draft him. I'm a huge Kolar fan.
