It has taken you until today to quote a 10 day old post in some petty childish fashion lol You sad, sad freak, go and ask your friend what his dream draft would be. ps when I say freak I am obviously thinking of a far better term that I am not allowed to use nowadays.
At this stage it's now an easy choice - Sauce Gardner at 4 (Best CB, won't last till 10, and this division we have to stop Waddle, Hill, Diggs, Gabe Davis). Jermaine Johnson at 10 (Gets sacks, Can hold the edge against the run, performed well this year during the season, at the senior bowl and at the combine. Also has a little nastiness in a good way). With Lawson coming back, hopefully healthy, adding DJ Reed at CB and Whitehead at safety our defense should be a major step up from last year. BTW - Still tons of WR's and Linebackers with the two picks in round 2.
First, off I have a job, and sorry if your feelings are hurt cause I don't reply promptly you pompous freak. Actually, I'm not sorry your feeling are hurt cause I really don't care for you at all.
You really are a thick dullard, aren't you? The point was, it has taken you ten days to issue a childlike insult of 'lol' this after issuing a demand for me to 'never ever quote you again'. Man, what a complete and utter gimp you are. LOL
Yours is about the only one I really like, especially round ONE! We really need a stud LB more than about anything (as I have posted often). This won't be popular, but I would like RB B. Hall in round 2. Best RB in the draft and should be there then. With all the talk about helping Z. Wilson, combining Carter with Hall might be the key. I REALLY hope we do not go WR in round one--little value there and I like what we got in Davis, Moore, Berrios, and the two TEs. Yes, some depth there would help, but that is what day 2-3 of the draft is for.
Before I list my draft of what I would like. Let it be known, I would dangle Becton to any team for a 1st rd pick in 2023 as trade bait. If there are any takers, then my draft changes. Until that occurs, here is rundown: 1/4- CB- Sauce 1/10- WR- Wilson Since it's a dream, Linderbaum slides to about 28, jets trade #2/3 pick and something in 2023 and select: 1/28- C- Linderbaum 2/6- S- Brisker 3/5- LB- Muma 4/6- DT- Winfrey 4/12- Edge- T. Smith 5/3- WR- Pierce, we need depth. 5/20- RB- Z. White I'm still one of those that believe CB has more impact against the passing game than Edge rusher.
Walker is another level. I used to want to draft Hall bc he’s bigger but idt we need a “change of pace” as much as the ability to keep Carter healthy. I’m rewatching the Buccs game from last year rn and the run game is a different animal when Carter comes off.
4- don’t over think it and grab Kayvon Thibs. 10- WR Treylon Burks. Love the size and speed combo. Also feel he can do similar things to Deebo 35- S Jaquan Brisker…being a PSU fan, this dude brings it. Can cover well and plays in run support. He made some big time plays to bail out the secondary. I like Hamilton but Brisker IMO is right there with him. —-go grab another OL or two, specifically tackle and C. Get another speed WR and bruising RB.
all you people saying sauce at 4 really disappoint me. it would be the biggest mistake the jets could make, far from a dream scenario. If that were to somehow happen it would probably be the only move that would make me think lesser of JD as a GM. for me a dream scenerio would be hutch at 4, hamilton at 10, trade 35 + 69 to get to 20ish and take olave, travis jones at 38, ford and wandale in the 4th and eliss and markquese bell in the 5th
I wouldn't call Sauce at 4 a dream scenario. But if KT, Hutch, Walker are all gone at 4, and if there is not reasonable trade-down offer, I see Sauce as the next best alternative. I could also understand taking Icky, but I think we're stronger at the OT position than the DB position so as between Saucy and Icky, I would take Sauce. I could also see taking Sauce at 4 and Icky at 10, not because that's a good idea, but because it would be fun to say, "We got Icky Sauce."
I don’t know how you can be furious at Gardner at 4 but in love with Hamilton at 10. Doesn’t compute to me.
