    Bullpens are extremely volatile from year to year. The Mets lost one of their anchors that got them out of a lot of sticky situations in Loup and didn't replace him.

    A bit nerve-wracking at the end, but the pitching comes through for 9 innings this time. Megill off to a very good start to his season.

    Shut them out for 16 of 17 innings. Really good stuff from the staff outside of that 1 inning.

    Finish it off tomorrow with Mad Max! LFGM

    He’s 40 years old and being paid big money, I can’t be too mad since this FO did not bring him in. Only choice they have is to keep him for next year or buy him out and move on from him.

    I think they will see what they can squeeze out of him this year and when there is nothing left, they will bench him and cut ties with him, he is a FA after 2023

    Anyone else get extremely nervous when it was 8-5? Bullpen is going to have me on the edge of my seat all year.
