meh we need a DT in those top 4 picks more then a 2nd WR. i also doubt moore falls to 38 not a fan of a T in the 3rd and don't like walker. i really only like the williams and ford picks

I think I'm one of the few people on this board who think the Jets have a talented roster. They haven't always played like they do, but I think the talent is there. Hence, in this draft, there isn't any one player I feel the Jets must get. With two picks in the top of the second round, the Jets should come out of this draft with 4 first round talents. Yes, there is a strong need for pass rusher, but pass rushers are hit-and-miss even in the first round. Nevertheless, you went for one at #4 which you must do if a promising one is there. I applaud that selection. I'm not convinced the Jets need a WR, but at #10 you got a potential superstar, so no complaints there. I'm not that familiar with Lewis Cine, other than he is one of the top safeties but I think the drop off from Hamilton is steep at this position, but you did address the need. Definitely feel the WR at #38 is overkill. Would look to draft at another position preferably defense. I would not go to bed angry after this draft.

I think our roster is more talented then people give it credit for. the fact we've been the most injured team over the past 2 years which has led to horrible records has skewed some opinions. not to mention a lot of our talent is young and not big names. We have a well rounded roster right now if healthy. I do think we need a 1tech DT and a WR3 but outside of that I don't see any holes. I see a top 10 o-line. talent at WR potential FQB stud RB and 2 solid all around TEs. on D I see a solid line that needs an elite rusher, a really good CB group and a serviceabel safety group. outside of WR 3 and DT though all we need are upgrades/playmakers at some key spots. which can happen with our picks. right now i'm really leaning towards KT and hamilton in the 1st, then a WR at 35 and travis jones at 38. That gives us the ball hawk FS that does it all, the stud rusher, and the run stuffing DT as well as the WR3 to pair with davis and moore. and we'll still have a 3rd, 2 4ths, and 2 5ths to grab a RB, safety, LBer, developmental o-line for depth and whatever else we want to take a stab at. maybe another TE or 2nd WR
