Of course he would get the chance to resurface with a team that is literally primed to waltz into the Super Bowl.

I wish him luck, of course. Always liked him, even if he wasn't a great HC for us. He definitely deserves another shot at it.

Nice guy, I guess we will see if he actually has HC ability. Hopefully he’s learned from his past mistakes.

Bowles rep in the league is much different than his rep here. Ariens stepping aside for the sole purpose of making sure Bowles gets a shot with a good team speaks volumes.

Arians stepped aside because Brady didn't want him coaching the team.

I wish him luck. I think he got a bad rap here because Maccagnan, in his tankathon attempt, failed to give him any players.

He had the misfortune of having a GM he wasn't on the same page with while with us, so maybe his second HC job goes better than his first. The talent he has to work with suggests it should.

which says nothing about he actual coaching ability

he can have a good D when he has good players. as he did in AZ and TB...

Bowles has been a good DC.

With Brady QBing the odds are better he'll win than not.

Boring! One word sums it up. 2015 was good season, except in the end. Last time I had anything good to cheer for! Seems like great guy, wish him best, I hope he learned some thing with time with jets! (i.e. geno punch). Seemed to not have pulse of locker room.

did he field a good defense as the HC of the Jets? not that i remember.

anyway. seems like a good guy. still lots of open questions about his ability as a HC.

He might well produce a winning record with that much talent, but that doesn't make him a good HC, nor any more likely to win a SB. Some guys can be a good HC, and others can't. We'll soon find out if he can.
