I had one (young) friend that started going down the Qanon rabbit trail. I properly bitch-slapped him back to reality well before Jan. 6th...
I guess subtlety is lost on some. There is no "LYBIA," there never has been. The name of the country to which you are referring is Libya, as it has been for 75 years. You cannot school anyone on what is "clearly" its history if you cannot get the name of the country right, even with prompting. In short, you don't know what you are writing about. Just tell us how much punishment the sovereign nation of Ukraine should take before it elects to bolster its defenses to thirty years of attacks by its neighbor to the east. Rather than blame the United States and NATO, explain what you believe Ukraine should do to safeguard its people and resources. Also, explain what in the history of Ukraine represents constant deadly attacks on anything in Russia. What has Ukraine demonstrated that you see as a security threat to Russia?
We fixed Libya and we can fix Ukraine! Can't wait to purchase... err... I mean "hire" a nice Roma cleaning woman!
Since your "comrade" appears to be unable to answer perhaps you can fill us in. When has Ukraine, or any force based in Ukraine, presented a threat to the security of the United States? If nothing of that matter is broken, nothing needs fixing. Try to remain in the current decade.
Right now the biggest threat to the security of the United States are the people that got us involved in a proxy war with a nuclear super power. This administration is playing with fire and using Ukrainians as kindling.
Well, that's what Putin would say. But of course he's the one who has been hammering at Ukraine for years, mostly unopposed. What, specifically, do you see as the transgressions of the US?
Let's start with installing a puppet regime, aligning with far-right Ukrainian nationalists... pouring weapons into Ukraine... shredding treaties with Russia and escalating cold war tensions with Moscow.
Would we all be better off with a puppet gov installed by Russia, like they had before? The people of Ukraine have clearly made the decision of which they prefer
Who installed a puppet regime? How did the West meddle in the 2019 Ukraine election? When did the Ukraine government align with far-right Ukrainian nationalist?
I'm genuinely curious how the West duped millions of Ukrainians to vote for their puppet regime.. when over 70 percent participated, if you remove the 12-14 percent that couldn't vote due to Russian occupation that took place before said puppet regime, and had over 30 candidates running.
I said we aligned with far-right & neo-nazi elements of Ukraine. The Ukraine military is marred by their actions. https://www.nbcnews.com/storyline/u...es-kiev-government-including-far-right-n66061 We even had Congress trying to stop the weapons flow. https://khanna.house.gov/media/in-the-news/congress-bans-arms-ukraine-militia-linked-neo-nazis I never said anything about the 2019 election... if anyone meddled it was Russia. Our meddling goes further back.
So I listened to this video You and I have a very different idea of meddling, at least in a very questionable/unethical way. This conversation, I hear no back channel meddling like online or media influencer or illegal funding . I hear two people talking about how to manage conversations, meetings that they went to setup between parties in Ukraine and the West.. And how to manage harder personalities so there's a better relationship. I hear a conversation that explains what they want to do to put the US in a better position diplomatically, but no where do I hear them wanting to do that in a terrible way that's a huge scandal. You don't think that other countries would have preference in whose in office in other countries, US included? Is it because they had a meeting setup and had an idea of how they wanted it to go. If so, what did they do illegally to force that meeting to go exactly as they planned/hopped? What exactly am I supposed to be suspect about?
Its even dumber that when you consider Acad supports the guy who asked Ukraine to meddle in OUR election cue the emojis
I'm not arguing It's all about one's perspective I guess. Maybe if we had a better success rate with our policy & actions overseas my perspective might be more aligned with yours.
