"The NATO bait"? Of what? Self-determination, independence, security and to be what the Ukrainian people want to be? Did I miss it when the NATO countries were bombing housing, hospitals and shelters to convince them? I suppose you could say that Ukrainians just don't know what's good for Ukraine.
This pretty much sums it up for me... War crimes always happen, the issue is when MY COUNTRY is arming the side who shoots captured POWs in the knee caps and leg bones and films them bleeding to death. This creates a national security threat for the U.S., as war crimes create terrorists and radicalize adversaries. -Some guy on the internet
Well, here's the text version from CNN; you get partial credit for claiming the Russians will investigate. It seems they are interested in knowing more about this incident but have said nothing about the investigation of the bombing of a theater occupied by 900 civilians, mostly the aged, women and children, seeking shelter or any other claims of Russian brutality. On the other hand, Ukraine has made it very clear that they will investigate and if the allegations are accurate, it is neither policy nor anything that will be tolerated.
Its a security issue for Russia. Ukraine knew that. They were biting on the NATO bait, knowing full well that it could result in Russia attacking them. At the end of the day, Ukraine could have made a decision to avoid war and death. They didn't choose that path. Not saying it is Ukraine's fault either, but this is the real world. Decisions have consequences. There was an option to avoid this. They opted to not take that option so here we are.
What has Ukraine done to compromise the security of Russia since the breakup of the USSR? Please list all the attacks on Russia perpetrated by Ukraine against Russia since 1991; on the other side of the page please list all the attacks on Ukrainian territory by Russia in the same period. Which country has the "security issue"? How many times should someone allow their home to be broken into before they take steps to protect themselves?
