If KT is there at #4, I'm taking him, make no mistake about it. I hope that he will be there, I just don't think he will be. I think our choice will be Neal, Sauce, Hamilton, or "reaching" for a WR or Edge. In that scenario, I'm taking Wilson and taking an Edge at #10. I don't think Ojabo will go very high any more. I think only JJ and Karlaftis are still rated in that range. I think I would be happy with either, but some don't rate JJ that highly, especially Joe Blewitt and Michael Nania. I would also be happy with Ebiketie, or still Ojabo in the draft.

I just hope that the draft breaks our way and that JD will make all the right decisions about whom to take and what positions when, etc.

If KT is there or if we take a different Edge at #4 and the Jets like Williams, I'd be happy with taking him at #10.

I honestly feel like JD will go OT or EDGE at 4 depending on how the board breaks. I'm fully expecting to have 1 of Neal, Ekwonu, or Thibodeaux be there for us at 4. Ideally it'll be Thibodeaux but we'll see.

    The odd splash play?

He was averaging 11 catches per game before he got hurt. He was on pace for 132 catches over 12 games. He's a catch machine.

That's one good way, but he's capable - IMO - of adapting to other ways. I think he showed that at the end of the season. In any case, I think we're going to see a much improved Wilson, one way or the other.

The other issue is that I'm not at all certain that that many Edges will go between #4 and #10. If the rumors are correct, 2 QBs could go in there somewhere. 3 OTs almost certainly will go in there somewhere. A WR or two could be taken in that area. Jordan Davis could be taken, as could Lloyd, Hamilton, and Sauce. I don't think we'd have to worry about it being Edge #5. At worst, it would probably only be #4, and could be Edge #3. I'm not certain that there's all that much difference between JJ, Karlaftis, Ojabo, and whomever is supposed be right behind those guys. Mafe could be up there. Ebiketie could be up there. Even if not, I like Ebiketie as well as any Edge in this draft not named Hutch or KT. I'd only be upset if we had to settle for and Edge like Cam Thomas, Sam Williams, or Kingsley Enagbare.

Yes, the odd splash play. most of those catches are routine 10 yard plays that any college receiver needs to make to be even on the team. Take a closer look at the route tree he ran most of his career. It’s limited to a few routes. Not to mention it seemed it was always from the left side. I honestly think he lined up on the right less than 5% of his plays. I could be wrong but that’s what it felt like.

What concerns me most is that he takes big hits due to his lack of speed and football awareness. I think this poor kid is going to get blown up in the NFL. I hope not but his positioning after the catch combined with slow feet can get you killed out there.

What I like in his game is that He’s got good hops and tracks the ball very well in the air and can be a legit red zone threat. He reminds me of Jordan Matthews/Michael Pittman ceiling if he’s not injury riddled.

Personally I want Jameson Williams at 10. It's early for most mocks but he was the concensus #1 before he got injured. Tyreek esque speed and route running, he is said to be ahead of schedule as well possibly for training camp. Even if he misses a week or two he could be our WR1 for a decade, anyone we draft could pull a hammy and miss a week or two

Yeah, I liked him a lot, but it seems like guys who pull hammies isn't a one time thing, they seem to have repeat injuries. I could be wrong, but that's just my sense of it. If that's not the case, then yeah, he could be that WR#1 we've been looking for.

He had a torn ACL but I was using the hammy as an example of anyone can get injured and miss a couple games. ACL injuries aren't what they used to be.

That's right. Thanks for the reminder. ACL repairs do tend to hold up better.

I don't understand why everyone gave up in here on him. He's the best receiver in this draft and it's like everyone gave up on him. He was projected as a top 10 pick before the injury.

It may be that people here have given up on him, but I'm pretty sure any GM looking for a top WR has not.

I think many of us put him out of our minds because our history with players with injury histories or a serious injury isn't very good. We also didn't know when or if he would be able to play this coming season. We need someone that can help this season and not just in the future. With news that he is healing ahead of schedule and could possibly be ready for the beginning of the season, some of us are starting to consider him again.

Could be the size but he reminds me a lot of Mike Evans coming out. I wasn't sold on Evans' tape, thought he looked slow but he's been just fine. I could see the same thing happening with London.

I'm beginning to believe London might be what our offense needs. Comps aren't always fair, but an Evans type would be a perfect complement to Moore and Berrios.
