It could be a matter of just saying that, but why? He had no need to say that. He has his contract, it would have been no insult to Miami for it to have been a tough decision for him. There was no reason to denigrate the Jets like that, other than the fact that we were never really a consideration for him. He used us to get more money out of the Dolphins. I would have expected no less from that POS.
This could be Rosenhaus just sticking it to the Jets since he has a close relationship with the Dolphins, but even if not, it just kind of confirms that Hill never had any intention of playing here unless it was his only choice, and it wouldn't have mattered what JD offered.
He has every reason to denigrate the Jets, in one instance he dispels any accusations he had the slightest of doubts about going to Miami and then their fans will love the cheap talk slagging the Jets. win win for Hill.
Why did he say anything? He was asked a question by a reporter, an answer is customary. Why did he dis the Jets? He didn’t. He answered the question and the writer edited the answer to get more clicks.
I read that in your post after I posted but still he would do it and I wouldn't blame him, happens all the time in sport.
