No, I think JD is lying. I thought that was clear from my Anderson reference

That's a real possibility and would be a great move for KC. This is a great player that could be available at 29, but not at 35 or 38.

I don’t think he will last that long but that would be cool

All swing and misses. Douglas doesn’t deserve credit for that

AFC has gotten tougher for the jets, not only the division but the AFC. With Russel Wilson, and Ryan going to an AFC team, Adams to an AFC team and Dolphins greatly improved their team, now you got more teams bunched up in the 8-9 wins mark squeezing out the jets’ path. Not to say that Jets can’t win 8-9 wins but the path has gotten a lot tougher.

Would have looked really dumb if we traded for Ridley and then he got suspended

i actually don’t think he would, sometimes players want to be closer to home and warm weather is just more attractive. Now throw in the state tax it’s a lot to overcome, even if we were Super Bowl contenders. I mean he just left one of the best teams in the NFL currently and I’m sure if he wanted to go to a better team than the Dolphins he had the leverage of not sign
He doesn’t deserve credit for trying to improve the WR position? As long as it was someone he liked and it wasn’t too much in his eyes and the player actually wanted to be here. I don’t see why he can’t get credit for that. He tried and now he prob knows going into the draft he’s gonna have to draft two Wrs within the first 4 picks. I have no problem with him trying to improve and striking out. At least he saw some opportunities and did his due diligence

For this coming year, I'd be happy with 8-9 wins.

8-9 wins looks like a stretch.

We really need to nail the draft.

What do you get for being right, if it comes to that? Is being able to say: "I told you so!" worth it?

Its like were saying, "Give JD some credit. For a moment he turned into Mac."

This thread has turned into the twilight zone.

Dude, I gave you another example of a WR who wanted to be the highest paid player in the NFL taking less to play where he wanted to play. I didn't call you a name, I asked you a question. It's up to you and your response as to how that question is answered.

I believe that somewhere in this thread there is a tweet that states that the Jets offered Hill the same contract that Miami did, but I could be mistaken.

It’s not over, Willis did a great job in his Pro Day and there is a possibility that teams might want to move up for him. There may be an opportunity for JD to garner a haul for the number 4 spot if the draft board doesn’t fall how experts believe it will.

Some people just want to bitch and complain and act like they know more than our GM. What's sad is that every time they open their mouths, they show how ignorant they are, and they can't see that.

No. He is too slow, has concentration/focus issues or shaky hands, and being able to get separation is important to a degree. That's why I have cooled on Burks. I'd still rather have Burks than London, however. If we're taking a WR at #4 or #10, it has to be Wilson or Christian Watson, and most people would freak over the latter. His athleticism and potential is sky high, however, and the Jets coached him at the Sr. Bowl. He probably won't make it to #35. I'd have zero problems with their taking Watson at #10 unless he was a complete bust. Even then I'd understand why they did and give them a pass.

I dislike London so much as a prospect, that I'd have a hard time rooting for him to succeed. I'd try and hope for the best, but he would definitely have to win me over.

It’s been reported ATL cutoff talks when they found out about the investigation.

I’d trade a 4th for him right now. ATL should fully embrace its tear down and get another brick for the rebuild this year.

The Jets get a low cost / high upside WR for the 2023 season. Have you seen next season’s FA class? It’s not good.
