Debatable. CIN was on nobody’s radar last year. I doubt they were even in playoff discussion this time last year, there is a lot of parity in the league, due to cap. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Comparing us to Cincinnati is like comparing rookie Zach to rookie Josh Allen. There's always somebody who vastly exceeds expectations, but the odds that it's you are slim.
I totally disagree. The Dolphins 1st round pick is #30. Their 2nd round pick is #50, then a 4th round pick this year, and a 4th and 6th round pick next year which are like a 5th and 7th round pick, and with Hill those picks would be lower in the draft. the Jets were offering 3 top 40 picks. I'd much rather have three top 40 picks than two and three mid/lower round picks.
I’m pretty sure he has people for that, and being from the south I doubt he wanted to play in NY. So it probably had to do with the taxes, higher cost of living, weather, and being closer to home
I think if the Jets were legit contenders, he'd come here rather than spend the rest of his prime playing for a bad team. But given the Jets and Dolphins are both bad teams, then all your reasons made the Dolphins the clear choice for him.
Having Hill would've definitely helped Wilson but I think we'll be able to tell if Wilson is the answer at QB after next year with or without Hill, assuming we add a good WR in the draft coming up.
Well if it does, then none of us would be unhappy. Even if it is modest improvement. Making playoffs would make is ecstatic. But 9 wins would make me happy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Yeah but he had to agree to sign an extension with whatever team he chose which acted as a de facto no trade clause since no team would've agreed to the trade without an extension.
You are arguing with a troll. This is a guy that wanted to trade multiple picks for Jimmy G. Need I say more?
Every team in the AFC with a settled QB position except for Jacksonville is in better shape than the Jets. A few that don't have settled QB positions are also. When I look at the AFC I see two teams that are clearly bottom of the barrel with no shot at a playoff spot next season - the Jets and the Texans. Then there are a couple of teams that are going to have a hard time getting into contention including Jacksonville and Pittsburgh. The other 12 teams all have at least a shot at the playoffs.
Of course it had something to do with it. Just take it and move on, you admitted yourself there was no trade clause, why are we still fuckin around?
True, and they know which franchises are loser franchises too. They act in the best interest of their clients
Just because you don’t agree with it doesn’t make it nonsense! You think they are going to survive another 4 win season and Wilson floundering like he did last year? I guarantee you they will make changes if Jets only win 4 games!
Really a negative look at things, Jacksonville not better than jets. Equal at best. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
