Maybe NFL teams dont use the draft value chart for matters like this. Or Tyreek Hill only wanted to go to Miami. I dont really blame him to be honest. I believe the entire package Miami gave up is less value than the 10th pick. So the Jets more than likely had the best offer out there, but you can't force a guy to want to play for you. This stings, but its reassuring that JD is willing to trade significant draft capital to make sure Zach develops.
i'd say WR3 is a hole too. I see berrios more as a 4. davis and moore are a good duo but we need another WR for sure. hill would have been perfect
He would have been a HUGE help to a young qb with a huge arm. This one stings, but he is small, and already 28 or 29. We still need a bona-fide #1 receiver and it looks like we're going to the draft to get one. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
"The Dolphins trotting out the 2 fastest guys in the league only for them to average fewer air yards per target than your typical TE is going to rule so hard."
Because Wilson is nowhere near as good as Hill. I can totally understand why JD was in on it, even though there are or were character concerns about Hill. I'm sure that JD must have vetter that situation if he was willing to go all in on getting him.
Offer the same package to Seattle for DK or figure out a trade for Michael Thomas. Get a proven NFL WR for your QB.
