#10, 3rd rounder and Mims for Tyreek. Don't want to overpay but you can't turn down a top 5 skill position player in the NFL. Easily still has 3 elite years left and will show us EXACTLY what we have in Zach Wilson. BTW, all of y'all playing morality police on something that happened years ago are WEIRD.
Keep in mind, in might be a "6 year, 170M contract" on paper but we know JD. It's gonna be a 3-4 year contract in terms of guarantees with an easy out about halfway through.
This sounds like a crazy overpay. If #10 is in the deal, I want #30 back. Becton or #38 can be added if needed.
Yes in a heartbeat. Dude's one of the best WRs in football. Give up 10 and 35, front load the mans deal. Get rid of him when his speed declines.
Getting Tyreek would be a Coup..but get him at something of a bargain Iam not upset if we lose out here but not give up the Farm like some other Teams would...we have absolutely to much work to do on the Roster Agree Douglas is keeping FA within rational bounds and it's looking good!
You are correct that Zach has more talent, but that is meaningless as he's not a better QB. Chad Pennington had less talent than most QB's in the league, but he was better than most of them. Right now Tua is a better QB. Miami's offensive line is better in 3 of the 5 positions. Armstead is better than Becton. I think AVT is better than Connor Williams but Connor is a really good football player. Deiter is better than whoever the jets are running out there at center. Tomlinson better than Hunt. Eichenburg better than Fant. Miami I believe had a top 10 defense last year, the jets weren't close to that. Miami has multiple shut down corners, the jets dont have 1. Miami has multiple good edge rushers, the jets dont have one. They have playmakers at receiver and TE in Waddle, Parker, and Gesicki... the jets done have one (jets HOPE Moore is one). They won more games and were a Brian Flores nut hair away from the playoffs. Its not even debatable that they are a better team than the jets.
