JD is not worried about his job. He will stay true to form. If he thinks it's a good deal for the Jets he will go for it.
Bruh, #4?! A guy taken at #4 projects to be a stud and a very cheap stud for 5 years. Hill is 28, will start declining rapidly in 2 years and be crazy expensive. This is the sort of a move a team makes to put them over the top for a Super Bowl, not a team that's just been rebuilt like us.
Domestic violence for certain. I've never heard specifically what the other issue(s) is/are if there is/are any other issues, but I have read several times that his character is supposedly pretty awful and it intimated that there were other issues other than domestic violence, although that is bad enough. In fairness to him, however, that was several years ago, and I haven't seen anything recently. If that's the only issue, hopefully he has undergone counseling and that is in the past. That's for his sake. Choking his pregnant girlfriend in college, and then later supposed abuse of his young son. https://www.google.com/search?clien...field+issues&sourceid=opera&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8
If we give up the 4th overall pick for a 28 year old WR that will make $20 mil a year into his 30s, I want Douglas fired.
I'm not that excited about this for all the reasons others have mentioned but I'm not gonna pretend I wouldn't be elated every time he catches a 60 yard bomb from Wilson. With that said, I'd rather keep our picks and go receiver at #10.
If you're a Yankees fan I hope you all hold that same feeling towards Chapman every time he strikes someone out....
Don't worry, if it's between us and the Dolphins, we don't even need to give up 4 to get this done. 10 and 35/38 would definitely do it and then we can trade back from 4 and recoup most of that.
Ok maybe not the 4 lol but definitely the 10 and more. I've been watching stud WRs going all over wondering what we have been thinking. This is the move if we want to see if Zach is the real deal.
I agree that Hills individual numbers and play “might” be better with the jets (although that’s debatable because miamis coach seems pretty creative in how he used Deebo) but I don’t believe in their team as much as I do Miami. Miami has a great defense, and just needed to improve their oline and running backs and they’ve done that this offseason. They could be a team in the afc mix if they add hill whereas if the jets added him they’ll be better, but still nothing to worry about.
