Not exactly sure how they're going to accomplish that without also inadvertently killing members of his own army. What if his generals refuse? If they don't, that may be the final tipping point for someone to pinch Putin. I wish someone would do it already, but word has it that he's walled in in his secret mansion. I can't recall at the moment exactly how many miles of no-fly zone is around it.

I don’t disagree but Russian leaders have never been shy about sacrificing casualties in their own military base.

    That was not Russia's request.

    They lately asked from Ukraine.
    - To limit their military power to 80,000.
    - Not join NATO AND UE (deal breaker right there)
    - Recognize the regiond of Luhansk, Donbas as Russian territory.

Nothing about surrender there for Ukraine to accept to not join NATO. They never made the request, it was just the trigger for Putin. Actually the only real request Ukraine has ever made was to join UE which angered the Dictator of Russia. They also started purchasing military equipement from the west and got military training from them.

Let's turn it around mind you. Would Putin accept for Ukraine to:
    - Join UE.
    - Ukraine can keep their military as it is.(and their partner with whomever)
    - Keep the region of Luhansk and Donbas
    - not join NATO
    ?

That was what Ukraine wanted from the beginning.

Is this some kind of reasoning for why we should just let Putin steam roll Ukraine? If not, I don’t get the point.

The real reason is Russia losing their influence on Ukraine. The rest is all bullshit.

Don't worry... next time I'll get a few dozen senior intelligence officials to sign off on my posts.

Of course... you're welcome to show evidence of any falsehood I've posted.

More information on some of Zelensky's moves against opposition parties:

"The now outlawed Opposition Platform for Life party is led by Viktor Medvedchuk, who enjoys warms relations with the Kremlin - so much so that Vladimir Putin is the godfather of Medvedchuk's daughter. . . . Medvedchuk was charged with treason last year and put under house arrest, in a move which angered Moscow. . . . The pro-Kremlin oligarch escaped his house imprisonment three days after Russia invaded Ukraine, according to the Ukrainian government, and Medvedchuk's whereabouts are currently unknown."

"Nashi (Ours) party, led by Yevhen Murayev, is the second biggest of the 11 political parties suspended in the crackdown on opposition parties. Murayev was pinpointed as a potential candidate to lead a puppet government in Kyiv, installed by the Kremlin, according to a British intelligence report before the Russian invasion on February 24 - a claim that the Nashi party leader denied."

"President Zelensky accused the 11 blacklisted parties of 'colluding' with the Russian invaders, and said the suspension would last until martial law was lifted.

In a video address on Sunday, President Zelensky said: 'The activities of those politicians aimed at division or collusion will not succeed, but will receive a harsh response.

'Therefore, the national security and defence council decided, given the full-scale war unleashed by Russia, and the political ties that a number of political structures have with this state, to suspend any activity of a number of political parties for the period of martial law.'

Right? I'm sure there are some bad things happening to Ukrainians by a Ukrainians.. if the US was in a similar position, you think this extremely divided country wouldn't start attacking each other in some way?

We haven't had a president use military force against Americans for a photo op in recent memory? Packing the courts? Please

These guys think they are enlightening us of something I don't think really shocks anyone. Seems like either a determination to be different, or that Ukraine somehow deserves this.

    Yep.

Hard to defend Zelenskey when he can probably get a treaty, but rather instead drag the world into WW3.

Yeah, Russia doesn’t have rigged elections or corruption at all.

    Fair point by that lawyer.
