    I’m sure they did…there’s a reason why he told them they were out of the running and then a day later he chooses them. And it’s not about players or winning or anything other than money

    I heard his agent pretty much did write the contract, and the Browns agreed to it.

    Smart on the Browns part. If he plays this year, then the big money kicks in later. You don't sign someone to a guaranteed $230M contract without some assurances that he will be on the field. Not even the Browns are that stupid. If the league is going to suspend Deshaun, they should have done it by now as I've never known the league to be slow to pull the trigger on a suspension.
    What happens to BM now? Do they hold him hostage until they know definitely if Watson will be suspended?

    Mayfield is definitely in a bad spot. I'm sure he'll land somewhere. Houston would be a good spot for him, he's from Texas.
