Matt Ryan is one classy dude who will say and do all the right things. Personally, I think Atlanta is making a huge mistake!
Ryan to the Colts feels like a no brainer for both Atlanta and Indy. The former needs to rebuild and the latter is built to win now
Wow! Watson to the Browns. Joe Douglas finally puts together a good Jets team and the entire AFC becomes STACKED. Typical! Now we wait to see where Baker is traded.
The Browns traded a ton to get him, I seriously doubt that they have enough to contend with everything that they gave up
Three 1st rounders and two other assets. And Watson has a 5 year contract worth 230 million fully guaranteed. That's quite a commitment.
W/Watson in Cleveland the AFC is really stacked. Zach is really going to have to step up big this season.
Assuming he's not going to get tied up in legal trouble and plays to his previous level as a starting point, he's worth the shot to me. I can't call it a "great" move because of how much it cost, but Watson is a legitimately great quarterback who is 26 years old. Without the off the field stuff he's one of the very few legitimate cornerstone QBs in the NFL. The forever goal in the league, outside of winning the super bowl, is to have an elite quarterback helming your roster. Even though it was expensive, Cleveland now has one.
good for Cleveland... sigh imagine a team having the foresight to look for an upgrade and not burn down their franchise just because they drafted some kid high in the draft
Hindsight being 20/20, years ago they should have just drafted Watson when they had the chance but know they have to pay that price to maybe be decent. I wouldn't even have it be a lock that they are better than either Cincy or Baltimore.
