it's literally part of our language syn·o·nym /ˈsinəˌnim/ Learn to pronounce noun plural noun: synonyms a word or phrase that means exactly or nearly the same as another word or phrase in the same language, for example shut is a synonym of close. "“the East” was a synonym for the Soviet empire" a person or thing so closely associated with a particular quality or idea that the mention of their name calls it to mind. "the Victorian age is a synonym for sexual puritanism" Biology a taxonomic name which has the same application as another, especially one which has been superseded and is no longer valid.
he's missed half the games over the past 2 years and last year looked pretty bad when he was on the field and IDK if it's due to age/decline or playing hurt and I don't think it's worth finding out
Sex and gender are also synonyms but most of us have leaned the nuances between the two words by now. While I can’t think of a situation of someone being agile but not quick, I can think of several examples of someone being quick but not agile. Some would say quick and fast are synonyms. Mims is fast but certainly not quick. LT Williams is both quick and agile
good deal for both sides IMO to us he was damaged goods drafted for a different system for them they get a speedy LBer who showed flashes when healthy. if he stays healthy he should be a good addition for them and if he doesn't i doubt they gave up much (likely a 6th or 7th) for us, we get an extra pick on a guy who may have not even made the team anyway. I doubt we keep more then 5 LBers and we have mosley, quincy, sherwood, phillips, and nasrildean already and could draft another one late
well it wasn't for quite a long time and just recently kinda changed. language is always evolving. you have to look at context too. in regards to NFL players fast is generally used for straight line speed (aka 40 yard dash) where quick/agile are interchangeable and used for short distance burst and change of direction (aka 3 cone drill) mims is not agile/quick but he's fast. most good route runners are agile/quick. micheal carter isn't fast but he's very agile/quick. those 2 terms for football are interchangeable
He was a very good ST which was the main reason he was drafted as he was rated by the Jets as the best ST player in his draft. If he could have just stuck to ST he would have been a good player. His problem is they kept asking him to play LB where he kept getting hurt.
Quite possibly the best GM in the league at maximising selling his own players. In other news, hope cashman is able to stay healthy, never really able too the last three years. Sent from my M2007J20CG using Tapatalk
Those days are clearly long gone. JD has already invested heavily in the OL and it was far from atrocious last year and have already added a big money addition to fill the weak spot of the OL and have our biggest piece coming back too. We’ve invested in OL, now it’s time to invest in playmakers.
