https://www.actionnetwork.com/ncaab...exas-am-cc-vs-texas-southern-tuesday-march-15 I think this analysis gives us a good reason to take CC. They attack the rim relentlessly and can make free throws. Neither team has any really good scorers. CC has three players in double digits PPG, Texas Southern has zero. And I told you I wasn’t betting until Thursday @FJF
The one thing that the committee did well this year is not put power conference teams as lower seeds (outside of Michigan). Normally that's when we see the deep runs by double digit seeds. Off the top of my head UCLA was an 11 last year and I think I remember Syracuse was an 11 a few years back making an Elite 8 run. The South is really messing with my head. I know absolutely nothing about Villanova, and just searching over Kenpom, they have Arizona and Houston ranked very high. Seems like Houston is super underseeded. Tennessee also has 3 good guards and just won the SEC tourney which has been the best conference all year. The bottom of the Midwest is also nasty. Auburn (or should I say Fraudburn) has one of the best players in the country in Jabari Smith. but they just let teams hang around. Miami is solid and Wisconsin plays its first two games in Milwaukee so its a damn home game - it would be a travesty for Wisconsin to not make the S16.
I was also listening to the College Basketball Experience and these dudes live in Vegas and make a living off gambling. They said that Georgia State got jobbed as a 16 seed. They should’ve been a 13-15. Not that Gonzaga should have trouble with them but that they might be the best 16 seed of all time.
I do business with a guy whose friend has a son on Georgia State and he was telling me about how he is flying out to that game this week to watch with his buddy. Just told him good luck bc they are running into a buzzsaw lol. Unfortunate, but at least a team like that gets a chance to be on TV and get into the dance. Once in a life time opportunity for those kids.
That was shocking. They won the Sunbelt which is a decent conference. They've won 10 games in a row. No way are they a 16 seed. Boise St. & Memphis as the 8/9 right under that is very disappointing and stupid as well. Both those teams are good and under seeded. Just a terrible job at putting together a bracket
I'm not sure if any of you guys who know who Steve Fezzik is, but I follow him on Twitter and he was going OFF about how the committee did these mid majors no favors this year.
They always pair the mid majors together, nobody wants to see that. Murray St. vs San Francisco is trash. Even if you kept them the same seeds, we want to see Murray St play Miami and San Francisco play USC
Tonight my Bonnies are 4 point dogs at Colorado in the NIT. I've said it before, they struggle with length and Colorado is one of the biggest teams in the country. It pains me to say but Colorado -4 is a good pick
Books must have gotten busted up Monday. Hit Karl Anthony Towns o1.5 3s Monday at +140 Today that same bet is -140
Alright, I’ve been hitting some hockey picks this weekend so I’ll get back to posting those. I took an oddsboost on a Mets future WS winner. +1000 to +1300. I’m a Mets fan though so beware. Also took UNC +500 to win the whole thing. Debating putting 4 units on UNC +4.
