I'm sorry if I can't work up much enthusiasm for Hunter Biden's crack-fueled misdeeds during a time when Russia is killing thousands of Ukrainians and reducing their countryside to a hell hole in an attempt to tear apart the fledgling democracy which is Ukraine today.

I don't doubt that corruption has gone on for years in Ukraine, and that it's probably undeniable that Hunter Biden profited from his connections. Family members of powerful figures very frequently do. Furthermore, I wouldn't put much beyond anybody acting in the throes of drug addiction. But please don't let your hatred for Hunter Biden cloud your objective judgment. For example, instead of lapping up inflammatory articles with a clear political agenda, I think it's best to seek out more even-handed, objective sources of news that are focused on providing information instead of stoking hatred. Here's one instance:

Some excerpts from an article on the ramp-up of Russian misinformation:

"In a broadcast on Russian state media, a television presenter said, "Today Russia started a special military operation to protect people who have been subject to abuse and genocide by the Kyiv regime for the last eight years."

"By alleging that Ukraine is dominated by Nazis and that it is necessary for [Putin] to repeat the historic mission of the, as it was then, the Soviet Union in defeating Nazis, this is incredibly powerful stuff to invoke," he said.

What's different, Cull says, is just how many lies are being spread: "The volume of disinformation coming out of Russia over the last four years is unprecedented."

"It's hard not to buy it," Ioffe replied. "They've now blocked Facebook, blocked Twitter, they're slowing down YouTube. Basically all of Russian independent media has been rooted out – or what was left of it was rooted out in the last week. Now that's all gone completely, and it's just state media."

The moral: question everything you read and hear, and double check it in independent sources. For example, I heard one guy on a call-in radio show (who described himself as a veteran) say that the expansion of Nato was dangerous. For proof, he said that he had heard it from an Indian source, and India "has no dog in the fight." Evidently, he didn't know that India has been close to Russia since 1955, and that Putin wrote in 2012, "The Declaration on Strategic Partnership between India and Russia signed in October 2000 became a truly historic step".[

The funny part is that it was the righteous left media that you think is acceptable that made the claim.

Ironically too, they are now in full support of Nazis in Ukraine because the Media told them too.

    Idiots.

So your claim is that the "left" is "now in full support of Nazis in Ukraine because the Media told them to"? Which Nazis are being supported and who is supporting them? Please provide independent sources of information to document your claims.

Iran claims missile attacks and the clowns that are running Western nations are still sitting at the table negotiating with them on the nuclear deal with Russia sitting at the table as well.

You can’t make this stuff up.

I believe the talks have been shut down at this point and are unlikely to recommence as long as Russia is under sanctions. The hangup is that Russia was going to be the recipient of Iran's enriched uranium and obviously the other partners at the table are going nowhere near that proposition at this point with Russia spinning up their missiles.

It's amazing how much the world order has changed in such a small period of time.

It will be changed beyond recognition when the inevitable sanctions against China begin.

We can't effectively enforce Russia sanctions without also sanctioning everybody who is helping them dodge those sanctions. China is about to have to make the decision and it will be a fateful one for everybody.

The Chinese economy needs 100s of countries to fuel their profits

They need Russia like a hole in the head and I think they are coming to that slow conclusion

Why risk world censure because of Putin ...they can help end this war peacefully

But I just heard on CNN momentum is building in Congress to snub Putin and his threats to escalate a war with NATO and US

I believe by next week our Congress gives the Ukrainians get those Jets our Pentagon is so afraid to send

Who wants to have Putin dictate our Foreign Policy???....I don't and the people in power now don't either

Biden has to make some big boy Kennedy/Reagan decisions

American journalist Brent Renaud shot and killed by Russian forces in Ukraine

    https://www.cbsnews.com/news/brent-renaud-ukraine-russia-american-journalist-killed/

Washington — An American journalist was killed and another was wounded by Russian forces in the town of Irpin outside the capital of Kyiv as they were traveling to film refugees, Ukrainian police said Sunday.

Brent Renaud, a 50-year-old filmmaker, was killed when Russian troops opened fire, according to Andriy Nebytov, the head of Kyiv's regional police force. Nebytov posted a graphic photo purportedly of Renaud's body on Facebook, as well as pictures of his American passport and media credentials issued by The New York Times.

I read that the media credentials from the NYT are from 2015. He wasn't there on their behalf.

China needs Russia if their long term goals are imperialistic style dominance. China has no access to Europe nor do they have anywhere near as many nuclear warheads as Russia. If those ties sever and Russia is truly backed into a corner with the Chinese against them, they can launch a ton of nukes at China very easily.

China doesn’t want a world war though. They’re slowly taking over the world and grabbing them by the balls simply through economics.

And those hundreds of countries need China way more than China needs them. The West has no manufacturing infrastructure to sustain themselves (particularly in electronics) without China.

The talks only got shutdown as of a day or two ago when Russian demanded that their dealings with Iran were exempt from sanctions. The US should’ve walked away from any table with Russian diplomats the second they invaded Ukraine.

I know retrospectively everything he did wasn’t sunshine and rainbows, but the world (not just the US) badly needs a stabilizing western leader like Reagan right now. And there’s no one to be found in the top political pool right now for the US to fill that void because we’re heading towards only electing demagogues at this point.
