Combine is done all the tape is out there on this 2022 draft class. Only the pro days are left and those are skewed in favour of the player. This top 40 is my opinion and mine alone from the tape, football ability, athleticism, measurables and injury history. I wanted to take a positive outlook at these prospects so I only emphasized on their pros I saw on tape.

The players that remind me of the prospect is their ceiling and what they can be at their full potential. I take their overall game play and measurables in account for this assessment. The ranking is based on how likely it is for them to reach this potential.

Who knows how it’s going to wind up playing out but perhaps most exciting is the fact that the Jets could end up with four of those players….

Good effort. I disagree with quite a few or your placements, but I respect the time and thought you put into it.

Yes of course! Prospects are like ice cream flavours to each their own. Even in the NFL not all GMs boards are the same.

I like Metchie it’s just a small sample size due to his injury. I have him as a day 2 guy in the 3rd round. He’s quick and has an ability to get open in the slot. Reminds me of Waddle

Yes, I'm sure he would be much higher on all the boards if he hadn't picked up that injury

He's still worth a 3rd in my eyes and someone will get a real bargain if he recovers ok

A real bargain for sure. He easily can be a 100 catch type slot receiver.

It’s funny because there are a few injury related WRs in this draft that have huge potential.

    1. Williams
    2. Pickens
    3. Metchie
    4. Ross

I think all 4 have the potential to be good NFL players and because of their injuries they will slide back a round or two of where they should be drafted.

Definitely appreciate the effort, even if I disagree with some of the rankings/analysis.

The one that stands out that I'd like to hear you explain a little more is the Jameson Williams one. I know he's a deep threat, but it feels like an odd comp considering Mike Williams is two inches and 30 pounds bigger.

Regarding Williams comp. I think they are similar as deep threats that make plays on the football down the field. Also their preferred routes are Go’s and Posts. I just feel down the field they remind me of one another.
