We haven't invaded Mexico during 30 years of one of the dirtiest drug wars in history. For all we know China *did* setup the cartels to take over effective government of most of the country.
Well China is supplying the cartels with fentanyl... which kills tens of thousands of Americans yearly. It's a quiet battlefield... but hey... let's pour billions into a corrupt pseudo petrostate.
I dont really drink vodka (aside from the occasional extra dirty bloody mary ) but is Tito's shitty? Seems that it's super popular here. My old man drinks Svedka (or probably whatever is on sale at Costco)
I appreciate your conscientiousness in rolling back your claim that Putin was content to leave Nato where it was. I'm glad that your basic Google search made clear that this claim was sheer nonsense. I would suggest that your implication that any efforts by the U.S. to supply arms to the Ukrainian government to fight Russian-backed insurgents in its eastern territories is analogous to China arming drug cartels to threaten the U.S. is similar nonsense. And I have no polite words for your claim that the Ukrainian people are evidently so dumb that they are dying by the thousands not to defend their own country and their freedom to choose their own government from a vicious invader who would make them a vassal state, but for oil.
The only thing is that it was a question about what the United States is going to do to help so I don’t really see how she could’ve stepped on the Polish leaders toes. I don’t think your analysis is wrong, but politicians are trained to sidestep questions they don’t have an answer to by being both vague and decisive in the same breath. “The United States is going to do everything in our power to support Poland in dealing with the emerging humanitarian crisis and refugee influx that Poland is dealing with.” Follow up question will be about specifics and the answer can simply be that the details of the US’s support are still being worked out with the leaders of Poland. The fact that she couldn’t engage in that dance is not good on the world stage.
The Chinese learned the lessons that the Brits taught them in the Age of Imperialism. British imports of opium into China caused massive dislocation and made the colonies in the area much easier to manage.
The timing of the Polish announcement was seen by many as an attempt to force US action on the transfer of planes to Ukraine. I'm guessing the State Department had no idea how to react in the moment and they left Harris to take the heat. Bad situation for her and badly handled by her but it was a typical gaffe committed by a typical politician under stress. The only VP in the last two generations that was fully capable of managing the fallout of virtually any international crisis in real-time was George H.W. Bush and he was an ex-leader of the CIA.
If Ukraine does not surrender Putin has nowhere to go. We already know that he is a bloodthirsty beast from the operations he has carried out in the past. The Ukrainians are going to make that his legacy and the defining image history will have of him.
Wait, I hate the US because I don't support the path that will lead to the destruction of the economy and collapse of the US dollar? You have it backwards, you are the one who must hate America because you want to go down the road that will lead to the collapse. I don't.
I am seeing reports that the US Consulate in Iraq was targeted by Fateh-110 missiles launched from Iran.
Yeah I posted that a few comments above with the tweets of the video. If it was Iran, then oh boy. Im pretty sure when Iran shot that drone down a few years ago, that was being called an act of war.
