Putin doesn't know the millennial generation very well. They typically have fewer possessions and are more likely to make sacrifices if called upon. We think of them as entitled whiners but that label comes almost exclusively from the actions of the upper class millennials who are both more visible and much less numerous than their peers in the classes below.
It's going to get much worse. If this leads to a financial crisis the American standard of living is going to come crashing down. Is that what winning is? Is that worth it?
My work truck is a 3500, with a machine that runs off the gas tank , and the van is 14k in weight. Not too big a deal for me though, I just raised my prices a little to compensate. It sucks , but it is what it is. For temp control, here in summer it’s important that people keep their ac running. Mold and mildew in this climate is a big problem for people without it. But definitely, adjustments can be made to compensate.
Again, I believe you are wrong on this. Releasing large amounts of the reserve would depress oil prices for a week or two at the outside and then we'd have much less of a reserve. 35 days of consumer use or 2 years of fighting 2 wars in a resource constricted environment? That's what the reserve is for. European and Asian wars at the same time and the Straits of Hormuz don't really matter.
If you're in an environment where environmental concerns require you to run the AC at high levels then you really also should be checking all the seals on the windows and the joins in the roof, etc to make sure that you are keeping as tight a seal as you can while you are running the AC at that level. There's always something that you can do to make yourself more energy efficient and to keep more dollars in your pocket as you do that.
You are very disconnected from the millennial class if you think the bold is true. Not to say they don’t bring a lot of positives to the table in their own right but living without or “sacrificing for the great good,” (when that great good is simply the America they are unsure of) are not baked in attributes.

Agreed. Millennials entered the job market at the height of the recession. This is nothing out of the ordinary really to them. The people who cant handle high gas prices are the boomers who insist they drive everywhere, and remind everyone they used to pay 75 cents for gas in 1974
From what I hear Comrade there's no financial crisis in Russia and the standard of living is great there
