Oh boy. Your link just gave me a flashback to my childhood. I was in kindergarten or 1st grade around the time of the Cold War and the Cuban missile crisis. I see the Ukrainians are starting their own version of the Foreign Legion. Mercs won't be far behind depending on the payscale. Putin will have to close the supply lines bringing weapons into the Ukraine or this insurgency could last for years. By now Putin has to know any puppet govt he installs will be fighting an long term insurgency as well. Again, if Ukraine says no to NATO membership but yes to the EU, that guts Putin's argument. They could simply buy enough weapons on the open market to defend themselves without western help. They should have kept their nukes... Good luck trying to get any other country to disarm now...
