The playbook is simple — make people have to decide between defending their value or being called a phobe or ist. Rinse and repeat. This won’t change until enough women stand up for the rights of women. In the meantime I hope the USWNT gets filled with trans women for the 2023 women’s World Cup; maybe then those imbeciles won’t feel so righteous in the defense of trans rights. Hell, turn the WNBA into the G league 2 while we are at it.
Sorry about that. It's that kind of song though. Let's not let facts get in the way. I was trying to demonstrate the way he sings Cola rather than it being spelled out. I'd kind of forgotten about that bit.
I wasn't correcting you. Didn't they somehow get in trouble for using Coca-Cola (brand name)? Live versions he very clearly says Cherry Cola for sure. It was a song that was way ahead of its time. It's one of my faves, I love it. He also says walk like a woman and talk like a man and other times walked and talked. Anyway, La-la-la-la-Lia!
The studio version I've got downloaded and have always heard, also says cherry cola. I always assumed this was some sort of reference to the guy in the song being inexperienced rather than to avoid a breach of copyright. However it's entirely possible that this isn't original. All good! Edit- I looked it up. The original album version does say Coca Cola but it was rerecorded for single release and changed to cherry cola because the BBC had a ban on product placement at the time and would not play it.
Trans activism is a direct attack on feminism... Sorry. Can't have it both ways. https://townhall.com/tipsheet/madel...ts-about-lia-thomas-nudity-in-womens-n2603923
I did recall it was something or other w/ Coke, so I'm entitled to a point or two. ; ). Thanks for clarifying. These are the kinds of things that keep me up at night. I'm not even kiddiing, haha.
So because he feels like a female, he gets to go in to the ladies locker room? The dude still has man parts!! We live in a transformative culture.
So dudes just smashing records and showering with the women’s swim team and we’re supposed to take this seriously and worry about his feelings? This has to have the cancel crowd twisted into knots.
