Yeah, they got their money after Trump's arm was twisted, because his withholding of the money was found to be without legal basis. Trump claim on stalled aid for Ukraine draws new scrutiny (militarytimes.com) But you probably won't consider any other description of the facts than the one you've got in your head, so I don't particularly want to waste my time. I also believe that there is "a reason beyond coincidence" why Putin did not aggressively advance to take over territory while Trump was president. In fact, I would say there are at least four reasons: 1) Putin was in the process of preparing to put the screws to Europe by making them dependent upon him and unlikely to stand up to him when he decided to make his move; 2) he had reason to hope that Trump would collude with him in weakening or even eliminating Nato as a possible obstacle, but his hopes for this were dashed when Trump lost; 3) Ukraine became increasingly attracted to the West's prosperity and the Western capitalist democracy model, raising the specter for Putin of having a political, economic, and social enemy on his border; and 4) Ukrainians became increasingly interested in joining NATO, raising the specter for Putin of having a military enemy on his border.
The Biden admin has literally limited fracking. Remember Kamala screeching about how they would do that on the campaign trail? No matter how much we're exporting right now it's not nearly as much as we could be exporting.
What? Dude you’re literally making no sense. Politicians drive the policy for oil drilling and can influence the international oil output. Since when do petroleum engineers make decisions on policy and imports and exports? They decide how to get it out of the ground, not what to do with it.
Like it or not, war has always been a time of suffering and sacrifice. People here are already complaining about gas prices going up - that is some of the economic suffering that is hitting here already, however long it may be maintained. Do you have a suggestion about how that could be prevented when it seems to be a factor across the globe? Did you think only Americans will be paying the price? Would you prefer that the president make believe there are no consequences we must face just because it is not our dispute rather than call a spade a spade? I filled my gas tank last night to the tune of $86, do you really believe any president could have prevented it? Please tell us how.
Is this a serious question? Do some research on what happened day 1 of this administration. And then research when we last had gas prices this high. They were about $2.05 a gallon regular, before her took over
It's not lmao. Trump wanted to deregulate and expand fracking. Biden wants to limit it and slowly do away with it.
Then I'm sorry for the inference. I do remember a TGG member having a story about getting ripped off by Trump Inc. on a building contract. Same thing happened to my best friends Dad... he did hundreds of thousands worth of advertising work for Trump Casinos and only got paid half the invoice. Trump told him to sue for the rest. What a dick...
You don't think supply of oil is related to the price of gasoline? Or that the amount of fracking that is allowed to take place in the US is related to the supply of oil? I feel like I'm taking crazy pills here.
That’s way different than the Wikipedia article. Just goes to show. And there is a reason CNN is folding before our eyes
Like a boss. But Joe told us he would end Putin tyranny. People are clueless. Hey, we are all suffering for the Covid ballot harvesting.
It’s rather funny that you were literally just bitching about snide comments and then you sneak things like the bold into your posts. The opinion of Ukrainian’s on wanting to join NATO has fluctuated but been relatively constant on the side of pro-NATO since Russia annexed Crimea in 2014 (guess who was President…). You can find those polls on WikiPedia.
Hey! Joey B. is going toe-to-toe with Putin! And don't forget he's got his bulldog Kamala to swoop in and bite the ankles while he works the body!
Oh shit... NATO deploying Response Forces to stop the bleeding. Putin is acting like he's got nothing to lose... calling Ukrainian leaders drug addicts & neo-nazis.
https://nypost.com/2022/02/24/russia-has-mobile-crematoriums-that-evaporate-the-dead-report/ This sort of stuff is somewhat close to the Stalin playbook. Die for the motherland but you’re just a number after all. Stalin took it one step further by murdering his own troops that didn’t do a good enough job but we don’t feel that far away from that unfortunately.
