JV Multiple things as bullet points. - I need to clarify what I meant by Europe will lose. European will still be taken care of in terms of energy by the USA coalition in Middle East/Mediterranean. But they will lose their dreams of being independent of USA as decision makers. France is trying to be playing big boy. Germany not happy with USA's Russia and China policies. In the end, they will have to fall behing USA and England. For them, this is a loss in terms of their first preference. But they won't lose much financially. - USA is also dependent on Chinese goods. Mistakes have been made not to counteract this. Covid has been a good wake up call. Western world is now trying to balance things out when it comes to World Manufacturing and trade. - Like you say Europe will be prisoners, hence my comment about them being losers. They will still be under US dominance or Russian/Chinese dominance. No other way around it.

Europe doesn’t have to be like that but they have so many neutral countries that have no interest in defending themselves (Spain, Portugal, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, the Nordic Countries and to a lesser extent - Germany) on their own. Say what you want about Trump, but he had no problem protecting these countries. He just wanted them to pay for it which is why he rocked NATO’s boat so much. If you aren’t going to build up your own defenses, you’re at least going to foot the bill for us to do it for you with American lives. The United States is still piddling around like a bunch of buffoons when they should be investing in chip factories on the homeland left and right. If Taiwan falls, China will really have the entire world by the nuts since it’s one of the worlds highest chip producers in the world and a democratic state at the moment. There’s massive chip shortages as it is and the world has invested on running everything from coffee makers to cars to health databases on servers and computers. That’s why I think South America could’ve a manufacturing feeder for the western world, but we’re too ignorant and in too much debt to invest in those places. Not to mention we’ve done nothing but wage war in third world countries to get what we want instead of shaking hands and loaning money at high interest rates out like China has done in Africa.
