The refs have become a talking point this year. That's really bad for the NFL. They should be the invisible men and instead they're standing out all over the field. If the NFL isn't very careful and very lucky they're going to have a betting scandal on their hands sooner rather than later.
I was going for the Bengals but I'm more than OK with Stafford being validated. He deserved it. Some bad calls/non-calls (what else) like the face mask on Jalen Ramsey but the dropped pass by Tyler Boyd, you gotta catch that, that was the back breaker. Entertaining game for the most part. I took the dog for a long walk for the HT show to purposely miss it. I just wish they would get rid of it already. Collinsworth was awful as usual, and I got subjected to a Scientology commercial (goddamn it, ugggh). I would have rather have sat through the Tim Tebow I'm glad I wasn't an abortion commercial that aired years ago.
Yeah, we didn’t watch the halftime show either. The whole thing from the 2 hours before the game to half time , is becoming more of a ridiculous spectacle than a game.
You would think so, but I feel like we’ve been here before. I remember saying the same thing about Cam Newton. And thinking wow, how many is Rodgers going to win after he gets there in his third year as a wild card. Neither got back. Burrow’s awesome, but he is going to have to run the gauntlet against Lamar, Herbert, Mahomes and Allen every year.
Burrow has a Marino feel to him. After year 2 they were penciling him in for 2-3 Super Bowls. I can see the same career coming.
I couldn’t believe that NBC had a pregame broadcast on starting at like 11-12 PM. Not that I blame them, but damn that was quite the production to fill up 6 hours with that much content. I only kicked it on around 5.
The NFL really should film the set up and breakdown of the halftime show. That's the real show of coordinated effort at the Super Bowl every year.
I see knees in his future. A ton of talent there but he is weak at the knees. Marino had such a quick release that he rarely got hit hard. Klecko was one of the few people that he was genuinely scared of. Bruce Smith also.
Burrows young but like I said with Josh Allen, you can't blow opportunities when they are right in front of you. Burrow was about 15 yards away from putting his team in FG range, and half the field away from winning the game. This reminds me of when Arizona lost to Pittsburgh for some reason. At least Burrow is at the start of his career, unlike Warner who was at the end.
Why on earth did the Bengals not hand to Mixon on either of those short yardage situations at the end? I know enough about the Perine's to know that nobody from their family should be getting the ball with the game on the line.
I turned it on in the middle of the 4th qtr. I didn't watch any commercials. The Bengals were cheated by the call on 3rd and goal at the goal line. There, that's the whole game. Then I went to sleep. Even though I only watched a small part of the game, I regret wasting that time.
more dumb shit bt GangGreeners.. blow oppoprtunities? Burrow was under siege the whole game... had his knee bent like a pretzel... anyway... watched most of 1st half... sound off as usual... really you idiots should try it.... then i skipped the half time and 2nd hlaf to hang with the wife i've weatched plenty opf football since the 70's... highlights will suffice... props to STafford.
I’m not arguing for or against your point but how are you going to tell someone else their opinions stupid and then admit you didn’t watch half the game? For sure. I also don’t understand why they didn’t try to get Burrow moving on some bootlegs and such. It was clear the pass rush was going to dominate.
