Every injury isn’t a freak occurrence. I like Carter and Moore a lot, but is anyone surprised they both got concussed this year? They’re very small players. Is anyone surprised Lawson got hurt? Is anyone surprised Becton took a million years to recover and the Jets did everything they can to continually give no update on him?
You can absolutely get on Douglas for Becton's issues because they were pretty evident leading up to the draft. Can't blame him for the injury but when part of the problem is the recover from the injury, you can point a finger. And you definitely can't blame him for Clark, but you can get on him for having such a terrible draft class that losing a 4th round tackle after two years is considered a big loss.
Felt like he had a legit chance this past offseason, and got extremely unlucky with injuries. wish him the best.
