With a second-year quarterback, don't forget. Edit: I was at dinner and just came back, so I see I was scooped on this point.
Competing crowds right now in LA. Lots of noise on third down when the Rams are on offense but lots of cheers if the Rams get a first down. I forget what media outlet made the point earlier in the week, but it was a good one. LA is filled with elementary and teenage Rams fans wearing jerseys and supporting the team that will eventually turn into season ticket fans. Similar to what happened with the Texans. It’s just going to take about a decade til that stadium is blocked out with Rams fans screaming their heads off. Not sure what happens with the Chargers. They’re the Jets playing in Giants Stadium for 20+ years minus the fanbase being in reasonable driving distance to continue to support them.
JV, Can you imagine Jets fans seeing this? It wouldn’t be pretty. I heard that a dude from Thousand Oaks bought a ton of tickets and sold them to Niners fans. If that guy were here, he would have had to move by now.
"Wow! The Bengals draft pick keeps getting worse and worse!" -Jets fans who forgot how to cheer for their team due to recent seasons
It’s pretty wild that with nearly 25 years of experience, Andy Reid can’t stick to the run when it’s working. It’s been an issue since he was fired by the Eagles. The Chiefs finished running the ball at 5.8 yards per carry. Why in the world would you not ram the ball down their throats and control the clock in the second half to win that game?
Chase has hall of fame hands. Everyone talks about his route running and speed but his hands are in Gronk territory.
Without a doubt. But do you think he’d be as engaged and happy with the 3-12 Jets as he was with the 10-5 (and playoff game) Rams?
Correct no-call on that play, but if Samuel is out and the Niners need to count on Garoppolo, I wouldn't bet on them.
Indeed. He is a huge reason why Burrows is shinning even behind a porous line.Zach, desperately needs one like him.
It really seems like San Francisco wants this game more than Los Angeles does - it seems that on every third down a Niners player breaks several tackles to get the first down.
