It's nice to see the coin flip didn't cost them either. It might have been a favor, Mahomes was a mess heading into ot, hence why I thought he would throw a pick. Rams and 49ers have to be excited right now, I'm sure neither wanted to see Mahomes for good or bad.
Yep! Burrow was great. This should give you a slight hope that the Jets can compete before 2024 now too! The Bengals were (4-12) last year. You just never know.
I'm staying with my 2 year window TDK. Worked for the Bengals and it MIGHT work for us. If nothing else, at lease we won't be a punchline anymore by then... I hope..
Burrow has established himself along with Allen in these playoffs. New talented qbs making their mark this year.
Pretty high bar for Zach to measure up to. These are his peers now and he will be judged not by how lousy his surrounding team is, but how he plays win or lose. He'll be in his 2nd year so all the mulligans got used up and he'll be evaluated as a QB in a league literally bursting with new QB talent.
This is also why the Bills fans last week claiming that their blown opportunity was ok because they have next year. Well now you have the Bengals who are just as good and as hungry as the Bills. Can't blow opportunities at the end of the day. The Bengals didn't blow their opportunity and now can walk away as Super Bowl Champs.
I'm sure they also said it was 'ok' when they blew 4 superbowls in a row. Probably saying after each SB loss: "It's ok, we can win the next one....And the next one....And the next one..."
I'm still in shock by the way! What an effort by the Bengals. I can't even focus on this 49ers-Rams game yet!
It's stupid logic. It doesn't matter if you have a QB. It doesn't matter if you have a great team. You cant blow opportunities. Look at the Falcons. Matt Ryan has been great but guess what? Nothing to show for. The 49ers with Harbaugh were great, but nothing to show for. When the opportunity is in front of you, you either take it or lose it. The opportunity was right in front of the Bills and they choked as badly as any team has in a playoff game.
He’s 17/44 for 303 yards and 2 picks (no touchdowns) with a dynasty roster in the playoffs. I doubt he’s too upset about trading him.
