Yeah, the GEM is the only holdout at this point for Nassau. Looks like potential double digits for me. Too bad. If people want a site with pretty much all of the maps available in one easy place, go to https://weather.us/model-charts. You can click on the maps to zoom in on a specific location, although it takes a little practice to know exactly where to click to get it centered correctly. Once you do, however, it's easy to change from one map to another.
latest gives a little more snow to the jersey shore. Don’t forget, high winds, drifting will be a problem long after the last flakes fall. Stay safe everyone. I’m on the edge of 3” line. I think I bust as that cold dry air eats up the western edge of this , I think there going to be a sharp cutoff of 6” to a dusting. If I bust I’ll be watching g the radar and updating . If I get snow I’ll be out plowing so no updates
Looking at the models was even more depressing than hearing the forecasts. 10-14" all around me by Saturday evening.
I didn't measure, but it looks like we got about 3-4 inches so far. It's still coming down, and pretty windy, so the snow is drifting a lot.
It’s a winter wonderland in Myrtle beach! Lol, a whole dusting so far. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Maybe an 1-1 1/2” just north of 84. It’s like living in a snow globe right now. Flakes in the air but no accumulation.
It worked out nicely where I parked in my complex having only the front of my car covered in light snow. Roads were fine when I ran out for coffee (central Jersey). Sides roads were a mess but easy to navigate. Dogs did not enjoy the freezing wind though.
