Of course the special teams mattered, but everyone knew the gigantic advantage Green Bay had was at quarterback. After the opening drive, Green Bay had one series of more than 6 plays the entire rest of the game, and it led to 3 points. The most charitable thing you can say about Rodgers in this game is that he was routine, and that's just not good enough for a guy who is supposed to be one of the best QBs of all time. When someone fails over and over in the postseason, it eventually stops being a coincidence.

17 seasons with only one SB. I don’t see how that isn’t detrimental to his Legacy.

49er's defensive front is really nice.

Well it's bad inasmuch as he goes from a guy who had a chance to be top ten all time to next level down right alongside Favre. Amazing how their careers parallel each other, one SB win and three MVP's each surrounded by a whole bunch of disappointing playoff losses, most at Lambeau.

This is the first year I've actually enjoyed Green Bay wetting the bed though, for the obvious reason of Rodgers acting like a total wanker on and off the field this year.

He really let the team down tonight. Defense played well.

You gotta score more than 10 damn points.

Remember when people thought Rodgers was going to go down as the greatest QB of all time?

Yes, Tom Brady and Patrick Mahomes both get home field next week possibly.

    The football Gods have spoken.

The winners of Sunday's games will probably be in the Super Bowl.

All this talk about Rodgers not having weapons is a bunch of bullshit in my honest opinion. You can't be telling me he doesn't have weapons when he's throwing to the best WR in the NFL and has the best backfield with Jones and Dillon. Could he have a better TE and secondary WRs? Maybe. And did the Packers make a mistake in moving up to get Jordan Love? yeah, but it doesn't excuse the countless NFC championship game losses and other mind boggling losses at Lambeau like the one last night.

At this point I think it's fair to say that Aaron is the 2nd best reg season QB of all time, or the 2nd best choker of all time after Peyton Manning.

Like Manning, Rodgers won his first SB when the defense carried him. The Packers had an amazing defense the year they beat Pittsburgh. Manning only won his two SuperBowls because the defense carried him both years. Maybe Rodgers can win another if he goes to a team that has one, but he's obviously not good enough to carry a team on his back like Brady, who is so easily the GOAT it's not even funny at this point.

I hope Rodgers enjoys his SB boycott. Getting knocked off couldn't happen to a bigger tool. Well, except for Tom Cheat. Go Rams!!!

Aikman was able to get 2 rings? Aikman cant carry his jock

being a total asshole hurts his legacy more than his lack of rings

Couldn't agree more (although the latter part of the last sentence makes me nauseous). Manning was a classic PO choker. As to his two SBs wins it was even more obvious when the Colts played Chicago. What you left out is that Chicago basically gifted Manning the game on top of it. Rex Grossman has got to be the worst QB to ever play in a Super Bowl.

Fell asleep half way through the 4th, thought the packers had it in the bag when the niners failed the 4th down conversion. Woke up to the niners celebrating. Again, good thing I don’t gamble. I had the packers winning easy with the temps.

AR also played in a division where the other teams were pretty weak for all those years...

a few decent Bear and Vikes years but those 2 never had a QB
