Yeah, that’s where our favorite get away spot is. We bring out dogs there every year to a cabin. Have wanted to see how they react to snow, as they’ve never seen it. Wish I was there for this.

This is what the Weather Channel site says for me on Sunday (near MetLife):

"Rain and snow in the evening turning to all rain overnight. Becoming windy late. Some sleet or freezing rain possible. Low 29F. Winds ENE at 20 to 30 mph. Chance of precip 100%. Snow accumulating 1 to 3 inches."

They're calling for rain Monday morning.

This storm is trending more and more inshore. That means the rain/snow line also shifts to the west. Whatever I thought yesterday subtract 3 inches. Brook 1-3 nyc all rain. Cman still in a good spot for 6. Subject to some change of course and winds/ice are still going to be a problem for some.

Active year for volcanos so far, probably because people are affected so we're paying attention.

An unknown amount of snow accumulated last evening. Doesn’t matter. It all washed away over night.

2" here. Rain tamped the totals down at least 3in. What's the story on Friday/Saturday? Rumors of another storm inbound.

We have a shot at a little snow Friday night here on the sc coast. Depends on whether the low tracks far enough off the coast to keep the cold air here.

Oh great. The storm is tracking closer to the coast, which gives us a significant ice storm instead of snow.

I really hope something happens to shift this storm , so we get sone snow or even sleet. I remember the 2 ice storms we got in 2013 or 2014. They were a pain in the ass.

It’s basically going to fling non frozen precip from the atmosphere into freezing temps, so it doesn’t freeze til it hits the ground. One giant pain in the ass. .25 inches of ice, puts 250 lbs on power lines. .50…500lbs. And so on.
