Read the title of the thread - it is a grade. Grades are objective measures of performance. That is context. I remember back in elementary school in addition to objective grades there were also some subjective attitude things like "works well with others" or "sometimes has difficulty concentrating for entire task;" if you think there would be value to that kind of report card, start a different thread.

But everyone in the NFL is on the same playing field. None of them are playing or coaching against a high school team. Why are you so interested in making excuses for piss poor performance? Of course they're on the same playing field - the one with the NFL logo on it. Just like the players all bring different experience and credentials they must compete against each other, the same is true of the coaches and they're all getting graded on how they perform on that level playing field of the NFL. To state anything else at all is an exercise of alibis. Talk about clueless!

I don't agree with your grading of LaFleur and point out that the others you mentioned have nothing to do with his performance. I don't care if you agree with my opinion but it is based on the topic, not making excuses or referencing the irrelevant.
