I'm basing that statement on Saleh's admission that they were calling a run play no matter what. But you bring up a good point, maybe Saleh was misleading the press, I hope he was actually, I dont think its smart for coaches to tell other coaches what the play call was supposed to be

I am not a Wilson hater at all. I am rooting for him. I just think people on this site need to raise the bar a little.

Yeah, no. His takes have been all world bad. Maybe it's just a bad streak.

Is everyone an idiot to you? They must be when you’re consistently the smartest guy in the room.

I have no problem "raising the bar", but let's be realistic. Do you give a kid who's never ridden a bike a two wheeler and expect him to take off without training wheels? I really think you and some others are too unrealistic.

Sure, the issue was they didn't trust him. It couldn't possibly be that (a) all 3 top receivers were out, and he was throwing to 2s and 3s; or (b) regardless of who the QB is, needing 2 yards usually means run. Nope, it's definitely that the coaches don't like Zach.

This was the third consecutive really strong game by Wilson. But, what made this really impressive was the lack of any supporting cast, with only 2 other offensive starters. While that was the same as last week it was against a much better defense.

Early in the year when he got no help from the rest of the team he could not consistently elevate the team with the exception of the Carolina and Tennessee games. But, those games he had to play outside the structure of the offense for the team to stand a chance. The last 3 weeks he has been able to play efficiently within the structure of the offense despite lacking an OL and weapons. The most encouraging aspect of his play the last 3 weeks is how quickly he is making decisions and getting the ball out. His football IQ and processing speed might actually be as advertised.

It is not good to hope as a Jet fan but with a full offseason, better TE, healthy skill players and a better OL, and a functional defense we could have an exciting average or maybe even above average offense next year.

The other guy was missing his top receivers too. One of them quit minutes before he took it 93 yards for the win.

Do you agree Wilson has shown no improvement? What take of his do you agree with? Enlighten me.

Or that they were missing Fant and the Buccs had been easily beating Edoga and applying huge pressure on Wilson. Nope, the CS just didn't trust Zach to pass the ball.

No actually I have been adamant since the day they drafted Wilson that he should be holding a clipboard. I think that's more in line with your analogy

The "other guy" - meaning the guy who holds the record for the most come back wins in NFL history, and is a 20 year vet, who also still had two of his top receivers to throw to.

    Yeah - apples/oranges.

My issues are with no nothings like you. And the guys that have to take a stance against any popular opinion. But it's great you see you and Vilma come together. Just beautiful.

Agreeing with a single take or not doesn’t mean I judge whether a person is an idiot or not. But you have consistently shown the need to pump your chest by belittling others when you disagree with them. Coming out of the woodworks when something happens that prove you might be right. Talk about the sport and the team and have fun with it and stop being so fucking petty all the time.

Enough with the little man syndrome and making everything personal bro. It’s so gross to watch.

No it isn't. No matter how much you explain, and even demonstrate what "balance" is, until someone experiences it, they have no idea what you mean. Almost no one gets on a bike without training wheels for the first time and rides off without falling a few times. It's only after they actually experience riding a bike that they learn how to ride one.
