With 18 players out and the HC? I know the HC is no big loss, but the list of players that cannot play coupled with how many players out on injury coupled with a team already severely lacking talent? The Jags would have to be the very worst team in league history, worse than the expansion Bucs, to actually lose today...
I only not believe we will win, I also bet on the game that Jets will cover 2. Being a Jets fan tells us Jets will always win a meaningless game at season end. If Jets lose today, they look pretty for a top 2 pick. That's why they will find a way to win. Besides, Zach is #2 pick and he will play his mind out today to show off against T.Lawrence.
There are so many brilliant answers to the question posed in the OP and I can't think of a singled gaddamned one.
Guaranteed the Jets play LIGHTS OUT, UNBEATABLE football today. We always save our best for when it hurts us the most
I'm that confident I'm taking a leaf out of some Darksiders book and going to the cinema to see Matrix 3000 or whatever it is
Like Saleh said, the guys filling in will be playing their hearts out. Sometimes that sparks a team to victory. Jets!
There is zero chance of us even being competitive today. We have 2 to 3 offensive starters left. Our OL is a huge mess, no Michael Carter and no receivers. The defense may only have 1 starter playing today with 3 at most. This team has played with injuries all year but never have I seen play with less players. The replacement players in 1987 gave teams more legitimate players than we are fielding today. There is no chance we can win. We should sit Wilson today. There is no point in putting him out there without an OL or any NFL caliber weapons. The last week of pre-season teams play better talent than we are fielding today.
MC1 was on covid protocol earlier this week and MC2 has a concussion. Is he out of covid protocol? I see Mosley is playing.
The Colts were missing their entire o-line last night and still rushed for 130 yards. Its not like were are missing our pro bowlers. Most positions we just have marginal players filling in for other marginal players. Who knows, we might find a diamond in the rough today?
