I believe they have to have at least one negative test after diagnosis. Before it was 2 negative tests in 24 hours, which was problematic because some players got a negative and then a positive.

Sweet so just any negative test before game time and they're good if no symptoms

Love the differing responses of sports:

NHL - Stop all games during the holidays
NFL - Drastically reduce testing to pretend we have less cases
NBA - We just pretend it's not happening.

I didn't take Silvers comments yesterday as just pretend it isn't happening. It's something we have to live with at this point and probably will be for years to come bc I don't see this just going away. The world can't shut down every time cases surge.

All 3 leagues are also 95%+ vaccinated FWIW.

It is pretty funny though how when cases surge the NFL suddenly removes their virtue signaling hats when games are in jeopardy and ease restrictions.

So Saleh tested positive today. These beat reporters are saying if he is asymptomatic he can return tomorrow? Is that the same for players?

This entire thing is a cluster fck man

The NFL just needs to take notes and take even just a week pause. It’d actually work out perfectly to do so this weekend with the holidays. But they won’t because they know we’ll watch regardless as @FJF said in the other thread.

They already did their Snoop Dogg SNF commercial. They're over the falls.

Nah, Covid situation will be even worse in a week. Especially if they let the players have a week off to travel the country to see their families

the NHL is gonna return even more f'ed up than before and wondering what the week off even accomplished

He, Shaq and Michael Strahan were riding a giant tidal wave of diversity funds on surfboards made from gold and diamonds. Epic.
