He won't make it anywhere else if that's his attitude. Who's handing him a big role? Better yet, who's signing him and not making him prove himself before he even gets a few snaps?
They're not going to cut him because that would be Douglas admitting that he made a mistake, and that's not going to happen especially with the pick before Mims looking like he's not going to pan out either.
They weren’t going to get in return what they spent on him but they probably could have gotten a 4th rounder based on the potential he flashed last year. I don’t know what’s going to happen with him now …..
A 4th rounder dude? Antonio Brown netted a 3rd & 5th. We’d have been lucky to get a conditional 7th for Mims honestly.
I meant we would’ve been lucky to get a conditional 7th for him at the deadline. He was as worthless then as he is now dude.
Well I don’t know what happened to the guy honestly he looked promising last year. Maybe JD tried to move him and didn’t get what he asked for …
Cut this sad sack of sh** and move on. It’s embarrassing how he conducts himself. Sadly, that means we’d replace him with a guy from golds gym.
That would require Douglas spending money. He'd just go find a guy working out in his garage and offer him a roster spot for a ham sandwich, pat himself on the back, and think that he's saved the New York Jets.
He didn't show much potential last year. This is one of life's myths around TGG. he had like 350 yards and was a ghost in over half the games he played with zero touchdowns.
Agreed. Our fans also do the same thing with Becton. Half of them think Becton showed himself to be a stud, long term answer at LT last year. He was pretty good at run blocking and pretty bad at pass blocking (which is more important). Quinnen is also following a similar trend. We've been so bad at drafting during the last decade that our fans often mistake mediocrity for greatness because they're so used to seeing outright busts. The mediocre guys look decent compared to outright busts but they're still just mediocre guys.
