This is old but still good. Unfortunately J.B. Smoove was hired by the Jets to do the fugly embarrassing uniform reveal.
I’m not sure that wouldn’t have been a cringe fest no matter who they hired. The whole thing was bizarre.
I know I harp on the uniform reveal a lot but I think it means something. When the organization makes that big a deal advertising something and then the execution is just an embarrassing mess, what do you think their operations look like behind closed doors without fanfare?
Can you imagine how ecstatic Woody was at what was said during that meeting? Someone could’ve puked on the conference table and he would’ve been clapping his hands like a moron.

I think someone did vomit on the conference table, actually. That was interpreted as "A good idea would be to have Sam Darnold and Quincy Enunwa come out to Pantera's Respect Walk. People will really enjoy looking back in that in 2 years when nobody on this stage is with the team. " Ok, maybe not all that but you get the picture.
Have you ever watched Curb? If you haven’t, you can watch the Jets Carl episode but you also need to start on season 1 episode 1 and watch the entire thing. You can even skip around the earlier seasons because it’s not that chronological but the later couple seasons are mostly lame. If you do this, you will officially be an American Brook. Because Curb is the greatest American comedy created as far as I’m concerned. The show is as about to be buried and then they brought JB Smoove in and it was absolute gold. I have a couple points of separation (friend of a friend deal) of someone who took Larry David’s daughter to prom or something of the like. And it was confirmed he is the same exact dude on the show as he is in real life.
