We are 3-10 and heading down to Florida to face the Dolphins. Our own @jaywayne kicks us off with a nice video. Subscribe to his channel if you haven't done so already.
The Jets might as well go find a tiki bar down in the keys to make that trip to FL worthwhile. Another Jet loss. Hopefully not another blowout. Maybe what we're seeing out of Zach is what he is..
A fish squishing would be really nice right about now. What are the odds that Saleh and LaFleur are worried enough about their jobs by mid-week to start anybody but Zach Wilson? I really think any of the other QB's on the roster could make the game competitive and Zach has a very low chance of doing that.
They would have to admit to themselves that they've done a piss poor job coaching this team. I don't see that happening..
They could also just bend to the reality that for whatever reason Zach Wilson has not proven ready to play this season and they have 3 "lesser" talents who have all done well in the offense to choose from to finish the year. At some point it has to occur to them: "it's the QB stupid".
I will be in Atlantic City next Sunday Jack. How much shall I bet for Dolphins to cover? Dolphins open up as 7 point favorites. Shall I jump on it already?
I think you need to change your expectations. Zach Wilson is starting the rest of the year. He will be the starter next year too. You can either get on board with it and root for him to succeed, or continue to complain that he is the starter when that will not be changing.
You ever see the movie Major League? You know those 4 guys beating the drums in the otherwise empty centerfield stands?
And that is the cold hard fact of the matter. We sink or swim with Wilson period. The reputations of both Saleh's CS and JD are riding on Zach's success (or failure as it were..).
here is a tiny sliver of hope - last year it felt like most dolphins fans were ready to move on from Tua who looked awful and yet this year the light seems to be coming on for him - can only hope the same thing will happen for us
