Robert Saleh just said in the post game presser that he's not concerned about Zach's short passing in the long term. I can't tell if he actually believes that or it's just PR talk.

That's coach-speak for "Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!! Get me outta here!!!!!!!!!!!"

Another way to put it is that virtually everything that could go wrong is going wrong at this point and in that context why should he be worried about one more thing he can't control?

Falk played behind a terrible oline and was thrown into action under one of the worst HC in the history of the NFL, Hackenburg was a huge reach that should have been drafted in the 5th round.

Wilson is regressing before our very eyes, he went from a smart instinctual young QB who played the game very fluid to a QB that is not even fundamentally sound anymore!

I could deal with bad games or stats, but to lose it fundamentally 13 games into your career is a huge red flag not just for him but the CS as well.

Apparently you need pro-bowl receivers to complete a 5 yard pass?

Has anyone seen a qb other than Zach throw as many unintentional balls into the dirt as Zach has this year? This guy is just not a NFL Qb. A NFL Qb can hit these passes in their sleep. In my 20 years of being a fan for this team, he is easily the worst Qb I’ve ever seen accuracy wise. I hate to write the guy off yet but the accuracy issues are so awful, it’s hard not to right now.

Sanchez threw a lot of balls into the ground after Rex nipple-clamped him over the picks early on.

I know weve been over this but the offence needs a QB who can do the basics, these young guys coming from the practice squad and off the bench dont have a chance. Start Flacco or what was the point signing him. Jeez start Morgan maybe he can throw 5 yards?

I don’t ever remember it being to this level though. It isn’t like he throws it at their feet but some of these throws are bouncing 5+ feet in front of them. It baffles me how a QB in the NFL can be this inaccurate. It also isn’t like it is just a one game anomaly either. This has been the case in quite a few games so far.

Is everyone forgetting we were without our top 2 WR’s and RB’s today? I get that Zach didn’t play flawlessly but did you all really expect him to today?

Ty Johnson destroyed any rhythm he might have gained on the first few series by dropping 2-3 gimme’s.

Even with all of that he had 200 yards passing and was our leading rusher.

He wasn’t great today but also got 0 help from the rest of the team.

How long are these type of excuses going to continue for? When do we learn our lesson as fans of this team? We've had plenty of experience with shitty QB play, when Is enough, enough?

I didn't believe In this kid pre-draft. I accepted It, hoped for the best, but I can't ignore this level of dog shit that I keep seeing from this kid.

    I'm over It.

He needs to show he belongs, he's not. He hasn't.

It feels like we will be doing the same bullshit cycle by 2023. Yay, fucking, rah.

Mmm today's performance by Zach is pretty indefensible. He was insanely inaccurate. Completions were consistently bad throws also. It was one of the worse displays of accuracy I've even seen from a jet QB. Hard to imagine it mattered who was out there minus Johnson in Q1.

I get the 5 pick game will be considered his worse game.. but this one is right up there with no turnovers. That's pretty damn hard to do.

I thought he read the field well, all good decisions. Just a lot of bad throws, few drops and a couple of miscommunications. I think it can be cleaned up.

Sorry but I disagree with your comments regarding Ty J. Three passes tha were thrown to him, two were inaccurate. Two were behind him. One he had to almost stop and another he had to contort his body to the left while going right and that ball hit him in the Sholder pads.

He is not accurate on short passes and hasn;t been all season. As for help. Isn't the QB supposed to elevate his teammates? Also, he seems to lock onto receivers all too often and 19-42 209 yrds (a lot in garbage time), 9 pts. 59.8 QBR is cutting it. How many 3 and outs were there...

As others have stated above his fundamentals have deteriorated and that is even with his personal QBC, so I am afraid my friend he is headed in the wrong direction.

Please. Enough with the excuses. Yes there were dropped balls and that didn’t help ZW to keep the chains moving. Still had Cole Sr , Crowder, and even Berrios. He had plenty of time. He could have lead with better passes. No not all on him he is wasn’t good today.

It's a symptom of the Int's he threw earlier just like Sanchez dirt throws were. When you miss short and low it is very hard for the ball to get picked.

When the game was on the line Z-Man only had 83 yds passing. The final 200 yards is what the late Red Auerbach would call "Junk Points". No meaning just padding your stats.

As I said last week (and got shit on for it), if the Jets hand Wilson the job next year and this continues to happen, they're going to lose the locker room within a month.

Nope. Not allowed to think that he can make improvements, he's stuck as is!

Honestly though, his decision making has been much better and he's looking more poised in the pocket. I'm going to assume the first couple games messed with his mechanics given how bad the OL was and he can't fix it midseason. Zach will be fine.
