Can anyone tell me of a worse safety they have ever seen play?

I've never seen less of a football player in the NFL. He literally is a net negative. The Jets play with 10 people on the field when he's out there.

I'd like to also see one video of a hard tackle, because apparently he's a hard hitter.. I've only seen him be the softest player I've ever seen on multiple occasions. He's visibly scared to play football.

He's worse than Eric Smith. At least Smith could hit. When this guy hits it looks like he's scared to get hurt.

Kid is useless as a Safety.

He just avoided contact on a potential first down saving tackle.

I can't believe he sees the field. It's an embarrassment.

He really had the correct angle with a guy that was lined against the sideline and then dove for his ankles and missed.

He's SOFT and he takes the worst angles in pursuit of the ball carrier that I've ever seen. If Joe Douglas was trying to find a replacement for Jamal Adams when he drafted him he could have gotten more easily out of an udfa.

We always have the best practice players. If the Super Bowl was played during practice, we'd be the Patriots.

He’s not a football player. He’s a track and field athlete that somehow was able to walk on at a shitty college football program. It’s becoming evident now. Idk who’s worse him or Eric Smith

Objective comparison for him would be Calvin Pryor and I still think Davis loses.

This game is pretty much an average Ashtyn Davis game.

    Bad angles.
Bathroom tissue softness when he has to make a play.
Perfect QB completion percentage against him.
Literally avoided a first down saving tackle, at minimum attempt. He also avoided contact with a runner and gifted an extra 7-10 yards on another play. He literally just stood there while 2 of his teammates tried to make the tackle.
Always standing around the pile after the play ends.

He's the worst player I've ever seen play the game

And honestly it illustrates how much the Jets are talent depleted. This reminds me of how Todd Bowles would march Darron Lee out on the field as a starter when he had no earthly reason to do it. Lee couldn't even line up correctly but just because he was drafted high he simply was appointed a starter. It's the worse kind of travesty when you have udfa behind that look better.

If he's not good in practice then he may be sucking the feet of the entire CS' wives.

McDougald was bad, but Ashtyn still makes him look like a pro bowler.

I seriously don't Ashtyn will ever see another NFL field again once he's released by the jets. He may not even get a PS spot, but I think one team out of 32 will put him on a PS.

McDougald played in the league for like seven years.
