Just can't have nice tings can we... Tank It up!!! https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2021/12/11/jets-putting-elijah-moore-on-injured-reserve/
Fucking comedic at this point. And everyone will take a steamy shit on Wilson, making sweeping conclusions about his career when things go poorly over these last four weeks.
I know its only his first season, - but the thought of durability has immediately crept into my mind.
Oh man.....for a minute there I thought you were going to say TE2 also. 64% of the Jets starters will be out vs. Saints. I was looking forward all week to see Zach and Elijah build on last weeks game. Crowder is the only starting weapon Zach will have to work with, everyone else are backups. This will be a big test for Zach.
Ugh. This makes it tough to judge Zach really. Poor guy. I hope he still can pull a win tomorrow to increase his branding.
he may have aggravated it during practice yesterday. Saleh said he would test it out and determine if he could go. Now he’s out a minimum of 3 weeks.
What’s crazy is that the Jets have trotted out worse WRs than that in recent years. This is a huge stretch for Mims, time to put up or shut up for him.
When life gives you lemons..... Time to flex the game plan and take advantage of the talent our healthy WR's and RB's have. No need to turtle now nor is there a need for Zach to go into full hero mode. This season was never going to amount to anything other than a prolonged training camp so why not accept that and evaluate who's on the roster. We can only play whose available. Sorry, but there's no room to feel sorry for the Jets as nobody else will either. These kids are getting a paycheck to play football. Time for them to earn it. No more excuses because "they're sooooo young". Nobody GAF.. The question isn't by how much we'll lose, its how much this roster competes which should determine whose on the roster in '22. This doesn't let Saleh and his Merry Men off the hook either. They can't take the rest of the year off and blame injuries. We'll see what they're made of too. I know there's folks around here that will give this CS a pass no matter what because they feel obligated to believe. Kept this franchise financially viable over the last 50 years of not winning a fckn thing other than the back pages. The true measure of this CS won't be how they did when things were good, but instead how they did when things got hard.. Time for Saleh and his Staff to show us something. Or not... We shall see...
Totally agree with you Cman! Opportunity knocks for the unknowns on this team! Jet fans will be the ones saying…Who Dat?
Last season we had a few games where Berrios was the #1, Smith was #2 and some guy I never heard of was #3. Cole, Crowder, and Berrios are still a better starting core than a lot of teams have. These are three seasoned vets out there. Lets not start making excuses for Zach before the game even begins.
