No way the Jets get shut out. All Zach has to do is get us within fast Eddy Diniero's 35 yard range for a field goal to beat that. And with the way Zach studies film I have no doubt he'll figure out how to do at least that much. Its going to be all gas..... and no brake.
Rain…don’t we have awnings? Foul weather gear, boots, and Sow Westers? Rain don’t stop a great tailgate!
Do the people who vote YES actually believe we will win or is it just blind hope and you click it every week? How can anyone think we will win this game? We can't stop anyone. Christian Hackenberg can go play QB for the Saints this week and we would still be 6 point underdogs. Kamara and Ingram are going to run all over us. The Saints could do what the Pats did on MNF with 3 passes and beat us handily.
We've beaten 2 teams already this season that are better than the Saints. I've already outlined why I voted yes but I honestly believe this is a winnable game for us. Would I bet on it? Probably not but I wouldn't have bet on us to beat the Titans or the Bengals either.
I understand that we beat Cinci and the Titans, but the Saints are legit on D and they get after the QB very well. Did you see what they did to the #1 offense last Thursday? They completely dominated the LOS in that game. They held Dallas to 2-13 on 3rd down. Outside of Pollard popping a 60 yard TD run, the Cowboys did absolutely nothing on offense. If I'm not mistaken Dallas had a pick 6 at the end as well? The Saints probably win that game if Taysom Hill didn't have mallet finger or a real QB to play. We gave up 200 yards to the Eagles on the ground and their best rush game weapon didn't even play (Hurts). What do you think Kamara, Ingram, & Hill are going to do to us? The game might start out close, but we can't stop anyone and eventually they will pull away like the Eagles did. I would love nothing more than the Jets to get a win, but I just don't see it.
It comes down to Kamara. Saints are 5-3 with him, 0-4 without him and averaging a whole touchdown less per game.
Like I said, I'm not betting on the Jets to win but I see it as a winnable game, especially if Zach continues to progress/be competent. The Saints are solid on D but they also allowed the Eagles to score 40 points on them in Week 11. The Eagles did get a pick six in that game so you could argue the defense really only gave up 33 of those points but that's still not great as our terrible defense gave up 33 to the Eagles.
Elijah Moore day to day with a quad injury LDT day to day with an ankle injury Tevin Coleman in concussion protocol Couple all that with Davis on IR, Carter on IR and having the worst TE room in football... this should be a really easy game for Zach Wilson and the offense should run like a well oiled machine.
Saints defense is tough too. Cole is practicing at least but Moore with the quad….ugh. And looks like Ty Johnson/Walter and….yes, PERINE may get some time.
