God, this team sucks - chance after chance, and they don't even put the puck on the net.

Score a goal?… I’ll settle just for hitting the goal at this point.

It’s mind numbing to me, how a professional hockey team doesn’t put puck on net. I hate that about this Trotz system.

I said this last season and I’ll say it again…we miss shots every other team in the league, even the worst teams, make. It’s not an absence of opportunity that keeps the puck from getting to the back of the net.

And right on fucking cue they don’t even get a shot on a breakaway.

They're hitting tough COVID times, but ultimately, this team is simply not any good.

It’s not just the lack of scoring that makes them a shitty team, it’s the fact that when they do they have a tendency to give it right back.

I wonder if this team is ever going to win another game. In the month of November their power play is 1 for 28, and they've given up 3 shorthanded goals to boot.

What the fuck is Lafreniere's problem? First a gratuitous trip against Pageau, then he goes after him and instigates a fight, which should cost him a game suspension (except the idiot referees don't call it). I know that he's gotten worse as the Rangers have gotten better, but what an asshole.

Honestly can't be mad or frustrated at the Isles here. The Covid BS and injuries have made this an AHL squad. It sucks especially with the new arena but it is what it is. Season is over. Lou needs to have a strong offseason as their is still a nice young core to build around. I think with a good offseason the Isles can be Cup contenders in 22-23.

Win a game, they may never score a goal again.

I’ve never seen anything like this; the first step to recovery is admitting you have a problem, and the problem is Lou’s plan simply hasn’t worked. Yes, he had cap constraints but his strategy to hold on to his prospects instead of trading them for proven players has been this team’s downfall. Not a single one has shown to be a dependable NHL player other than Sorokin.

Where is Islanders 20 year old phenom? Other than Barzal there is no one that scares the opposition on this team.
